Told them a couple days in advanced i was coming in Saturday and i needed the wiring in my car done for my subs and they told me yeah come on in so on Saturday i called them again and they said yeah come on in and we will help you so i drove an hour and a half for them to tell me i needed to set up an appointment and that they didn’t have time and in the two times i called them they said nothing about an appointment at all such bad customer service

Some of the best customer service I've experienced. I had a relatively small repair, but it required finesse-they worked me into an already full schedule, did the job in far less time than I had a right to expect, and went the extra mile to correct a problem that made the job more complicated than we thought it would be. These guys deserve your business.

Very friendly staff and a good selection of car stereo equipment. I was helped pretty quickly (they were quite busy) and shown the right equipment for my vehicle. Installation was done quickly. I am happy I new a new car stereo spot!

Great place. Spent a whole day trying to get a sound system installed and shopped around at many different stores around birmingham. I spoke with Rick, and he was easily the most competent and reasonable person I met with all day, not to mention it was the cheapest option. 10/10 would recommend.

Emmett and the guys were awesome. You sort of expect young kids that aren’t the most professional but this place is the total opposite. Super professional, patient and answered all my questions. Install was done beautifully quickly and sounds almost as good as the customer service was. Thanks guys. 11/10 Highly Recommend!

There is one really helpful guy, other 2 show no intention of wanting to help and seem like they hate their jobs. Makes for an awful experience and convinced me to not spend my money here. Wouldn’t recommend going here, they will not appreciate your business and make you feel as they want you gone. Any questions/requests are such an inconvenience to them and they reluctantly answer to them. Find somewhere else!

Driving thru town and they were able to reprogram my alarm kep pad. Somehow it got unpaired from my alarm. They were able to get it working. Customer service was great, so I bought another remote to keep as a spare.

Had window tint installed on my 2007 VW GTI back in 2007. Was told when I purchased tint that it came with a lifetime warranty. Tint started to fail this year 2023. Returned to store WITH RECIPE and they replaced all tint as no charge.

We've had two tremendous experiences with Sounds Great. The first was the installation of a DVD player in the family car (thanks Edward Chevrolet - 280 for the guidance!) and the second was the installation of a backup camera and new radio in my son's car. The quality of the install is amazing. Everything looks like it was installed at the assembly plant when the vehicle first rolled off the line. Just a clean, polished, finished look. Nothing looks like it was an afterthought or just attached to the vehicle in the easiest manner. They help you select the best option for your need and vehicle, take time to hide the wires, and integrate installed devices with the vehicle's existing functions (like steering wheel volume control and channel buttons) for ease of use. Emmitt and the guys just know what they're doing. There is a reason they've been there for 38 years. They do great work and they stand behind the products and their craftsmanship. I'm a big fan. Thank you Emmitt and thank you to the entire Sounds Great team!

What an outstanding group of employees at Sounds Great. I had a problem with a newly purchased Kenwood DMX4707S and Rick spent over 30 minutes in the truck with me diagnosing problems, removing the radio, etc., even though I was the one who installed the radio. If you're in the greater Birmingham area and looking for audio equipment and excellent customer service, look no further. I'm a customer for life.

I went to Sounds Great to have a power inverter installed in my work van and have some other minor electrical issues looked at. It's no wonder they have been in business for more thank 35 years. Rick, Jeremy and Emmitt were immensely professional, kind and courteous. I also felt they went above and beyond with a problematic light cover that didn't want to go back on. Even the guy who pulled my van from their shop was very kind. Firm handshake and kind reminder to drive safe. Top notch these guys.
