“Today I went to the downtown Birmingham Post Office because I needed help with a difficult mail issue. I was greeted by Jeremy at the lobby entrance, who listened to a short portion of my story. Jeremy directed me to the mail clerks for assistance. I was fortunate to have Cassandra available to assist me. After carefully listening to my concern, she quickly turned to her computer and fixed the issue. I left very impressed with my visit to the Downtown Birmingham Post Office. “Today I had to do some checking on my mail service due to waiting for some important documents and haven't received any mail in a few day's and for me this isn't normal. So I took a trip to my local post office on lomb avenue in Birmingham to inquire about the issue. The staff was very helpful and professional the young lady we spoke with was Shanta and another young professional were doing all they could do to give us information we were needing. The service was great she advised us that she would be checking on our mail for the next days ahead and would directly contact us if she found the pieces of mail we were inquiring about. I also have to say that the main reason we were following up was we really really have a professional relationship with our current mail carrier. He's always very good at his job n his work. We have never had any issues regarding questions we ask mail being delivered on time and all of our deliveries. We so appreciate the opportunity to meet the staff inside of our local post office. We left feeling confident that we were being looked out for. So again Thank you entire staff at the post office on lomb avenue we appreciated the help. And to our current mail carrier thanks for all you do. You have spoiled us on 50th street.”

“This post office is much much much better than the Birmingham Carrier Facility Downtown. They need to let the staff from this office help those running the larger distribution downtown. Always kind and helpful at this location. They actually make personal calls to ensure complaints are handled and fixed even when they weren't the staff directly responsible for the issues to begin with. I will continue to use this location for business.”
“The clerk in this post office is so sweet and professional. She helps everyone and make them feel special. I think the only people who gets mad are the ones that are not prepared or want free tape or use the wrong tape on their packages. I love Ms Kennedy! I woulnt go anywhere else”

“So I ordered a package and forgot to put my resident number on the address when I placed the order which means that the package is going to probably be circulating So I called this location this morning and spoke with a young man by the name of Joseph, he was very helpful and took time to help try to locate my package him just taking the time out trying to help me with a problem that Was ultimately my fault meant a lot to me, so I thought it was only right that i share my experience!!!! Thank you Joseph for that wonderful customer service that you gave me this morning.”

“Usually the post office is a stressful place for me, busy, unkind people, etc. I can confidently say Sharon at the Vestavia Post Office made my experience the complete opposite. She was truly incredible. I was trying to ship a dress to China, which unknowingly to me, required customs paperwork and a large fee to ship ($40) one small dress. Sharon was so kind in helping me though the process & even sat through a mini fashion show of me unwrapping the dress to get her opinion on if it was ugly or not ? Needless to say, she convinced me to keep & wear the dress instead of paying a hefty fee to return it. Thanks for helping me step out of my comfort zone! ?”
