Are you kidding me. The diesel pump is so old it doesn't take cards, no problem I don't mind going inside to pay. WHAT the door is locked and there is a sign that says "be back soon". REALLY

Competitive prices on fuel. Easy access in and out. Only complaint is there is not enough lighting of the station and the pump area. Hard to tell if they are open from the road.

Shop local if you can, small businesses like Citgo in Vestavia Hills is owned by Max - a great guy who you would enjoy talking to, stop in for some gas, drinks and snacks

They will tell you they take all cards but after you pump they will not take your fleet card. So you may want to stay away unless you have cash.

Don't stop and expect to take a restroom break without buying something! Yes, there is a sign that says that. And yes,, that usually goes without saying. Most of us will usually buy something, so no need to be rude and greedy. Also, don't take a taste-test of your Sprite to make sure it's not flat, or you have to buy an entire cup-full. For real! There is a sign for that too! And finally, expect to see coffee makers, but be prepared to NOT have coffee available and NO sign that says they are out.
