About Penton Farms
Penton Farms is a fourth-generation family farm with over 100 acres. They bring fresh fruits and veggies to farmers' markets all over the state and own the Penton Farms Pumpkin Patch in Verbena, AL. The pumpkin patch offers tons of seasonal activities for all ages and the whole family. It is a great place with lots to do, including a sunflower field, a wagon ride to the pumpkin field, a walking path to the patch, slides, a corn maze, a petting zoo, and concessions. Each year they add something new. Visitors enjoy beautiful picture ops and yummy desserts like funnel cakes and baked Oreo batter. It is a very affordable place to visit. Many families love making it a yearly tradition, creating good memories. The farm is open enough to not feel crowded, with activities close together. For a fee, visitors can choose a pumpkin to take home, with various sizes and types like orange pumpkins, white pumpkins, gourds, and apple gourds available. It is a sweet family-owned business where everyone is nice.
