It’s been a year since I’ve played here and wow. Great fairways and tee boxes. Greens were aerated and almost healed. Still a great of golf!

Great time playing but… TERRIBLE customer experience. Booked 2 tee times (3 somes). Playing best ball and let someone in front of us to help. Both teams teed off together in the first hole to get moving and they had some guy chase us down while he was holding a toddler screaming at us threatening to send us home, extremely rude and aggressive and continued to yell at us over and over again while we tried to assure him going forward we would split the teams up. Absolutely unprofessional individual, doubtful we bring our teams back.

I played here twice in the last week, and the value is pretty incredible. The layout is great and requires just about every shot you have. The greens are consistent, fairways are nice and tee boxes are flat. For $25-30, you can’t beat it.If you play for the first time, there is nothing available to show you the routing of the holes. Also no signage on the course which did make for some confusion at 1 green and 17 tee. That said, I’ll be back 100%.

The recent renovations have made the course 100x better. The greens are in perfect shape now, and they swapped the back nine for the front nine, making for a better experience.

Good conditions to greens and fairways today. My first time playing here. Needs more signage to holes . They just switched front and back nines. But not much signage at individual holes and didn't see 150 yard markers on fairways so my rangefinder got a lot of use today. Fun course. Lots of elevation challenges. Parking brake on my cart # 10 was difficult to engage.

This review is for anyone considering a full membership. We have had one for the past three years - but dropped ours to move to Goose Pond. The greens are in great shape at Cherokee Ridge. The new oversight of the course itself is superb. I have seen the care of the course personally done by a gentleman who is absolutely passionate about the course. They have major ongoing drainage problems tho making much of the course cart path only throughout the year. And the carts are still problematic. After a year of asking - the bio stops are working consistently. Yay! They have a new instructor on staff who is receiving rave reviews. The reason for our move is about the slow play created via the groups of 5 that go out daily during peak A.M.time. And the limited amount of play time for members. For example - the course is closed to members for events 12 of 22 days for a stretch of April after the rainy season. No accommodations are planned for members. In speaking to the head of the course - this will be common place going forward. The plan is to be much more event focused. This would be great if they had two courses. Sadly they don’t. If your planning to play here - single day play is the way to go. The membership is not a good value imo. Memberships without playing time is essentially a non membership. Many better options out there.

I played there on 24 Sep 2022. The course was in good condition. I was shocked at the price of $71.00 after paying there before for less than about $50.00. The course is actually a $40-50 course. I give this course a 4 star for the layout and condition. A one star for the price, and a one star for the golf carts.

Had 2 groups of 5 in front of us the whole round slowing down the whole course.

The best practice facility a golfer can ask for! The only down side is not having 18 holes, but honestly, we miss being able to play 9 there. The crew is awesome. We never really got anyone's names, but my husband and I felt like home every time we came in. The course is in really good shape, and even the Par 3 course! They care about the golf community and make sure we get a good experience. The driving range is large and pretty awesome too. But what I loved the most was the chipping area and bunker practice area.We had a range card and would get punch card for golf rounds repeatedly too. We just moved out of State and there are dozens of golf courses around us (coastal NC) and we are yet to find a place like Cherokee Ridge. You will likely outgrow the course, but if you are at all into practicing, you will keep coming back without a doubt.

Course lay out is fun, Greens are horrible! Burnt up greens! Either so slow and thick or no grass at all! Plus they charge $70! Absolute robbery!

Very slow course, they take as many players as possible. Ended up leaving without finishing our round, not worth it. We have tried this course several times and it is always stacked with golfers, people waiting at every hole.
