The old white lady that works there is hanging out at the door smoking cigarette by cigarette by cigarette that looks disgusting for your business y'all need to do something about that. Nobody wants to walk past the ashtray smell that smells horrible. That's what made me turn around and I went to another dollar.

This store is a joke. I went in last Saturday to return two items that I had brought 3 weeks earlier and was told that I couldn’t get a refund because they had a new manager. I tried to explain that I had attempted to return the items two other times but the store was closed. She said that they had only been closed one time and that was on Friday, evidently when she took over as manager. I’m not the only person who has gone there to find the door locked with no sign on the door.
Go down the street to Aldi or Walmart and save money. They are open when they say they are.

The guy cashier locked the door after we walked in I only got a few things. He was telling the lady in front of me she couldn't leave until after I was done and he would let us out at the same time ..he had put a sign on the door closed for lunch
Which sounded confusing to me.i told him I had worked at dollar general before and we brought our lunch or bought food from the store.he said he called his manager and she told him to lock the door and go to lunch
I went and got in my truck and instead of leaving I wanting to see just how many customers would stop at the store while he was gone.being it was the middle of the day on a Friday. A lot of cars were pulling in. Especially since it the closest one to the hospital . It's sad how people don't appreciate paying jobs anymore.and if it's on the other foot it sad that employers don't take care of their employee. Dollar general has been aroumd for a long time but now it's starting to go downhill.

This store use to be really good. However, the past few months it has gotten so bad. Every time I go to the store is always closed. They will tape a sign with closed on it. I went there tonight at 6:30 pm. There was no employees there. They had once again a paper with closed on it. Sometimes during the day they will close for a few hours. I just don’t understand. Every other store around Muscle Shoals never close their stores like this. Somebody needs to do something about this store.

this dollar general is far most from the nastiest unstocked,dirty, unsanitary store I’ve even been in my whole life! Dead bugs everywhere floor nasty stuff everywhere,disorganized,rude customer service, eating, worker with a cigarette in her mouth!!! it’s just nasty ? , I would not recommend getting any food( anything ) from here.

The staff is friendly and helpful, but on more than one occasion, I've been and they have either opened incredibly late or closed incredibly early (I'm guessing due to staffing issues). Overall, this location is either well stocked or very bare with carts full of merchandise from a delivered truck that has yet to be stocked (again, I'm sure is from staffing issues). If you're visiting any DG for specific items, it's worth it to call and check the current hours for that day before making a trip out of your way, but be mindful that it is a 50/50 chance that it will even be stocked.
