  Went inside to get rx because drive thru was super busy and was right before pharmacy goes to lunch. The pharmacy was out of the med on Sunday. Meds were for allergic reaction. Glad she didn't need the meds because was not available to Wednesday

  This Walgreens pharmacy at cottondale is two minutes from our house. I’d drive a hundred miles out to avoid using this location again. The wait phone time for pharmacy runs 20 minutes! I held on until a message stated that I needed to call back as staff was busy. I’ve Never experienced this! I mean what?! I’ve been on hold all this time and I’m told to hang up and call back?! Do they know the # of menus I had to slog through simply to get a human?! Actually yes they do know. They don’t care. I finally reach a human. I explain Walgreens’s processing mistakes and in the middle of my call the lil girl says “have a nice day” and hangs up on me. The pharmacy manager’s name is Janice. She has no last name. No one owned up to talking to me. I asked pharmacy manager to tell lil girl to treat others respectfully. She said yes I’ll handle that and I shouldn’t worry who I spoke with. Janice said that’s her problem. Yes, it is her problem. And it’s a big one. I do understand how hard training staff can be. But the turnover is unreal. I never see the same employees twice. This makes for a nobody cares attitude toward customers. I’ve encountered problems here before with employees moving as if through cement, unsmiling and treating customers as if they are bothering them. Furthermore, the baskets of prescriptions are overflowing. This place stays Busy. And it’s not staffed nearly enough to handle volume. I’m moving my drugs to CVS. The pharmacist there is So nice. I’ll let y’all know how that goes. Thank you

  I’ve been living in this area by this Walgreens going 5 years now. I don’t usually have an issue with staff but today I walked in and a young girl was standing at the register, I gave her a nod and smile, all I got back was a sneer. I then grabbed my one cold drink from the coolers, started back to the register. Before I got there the same girl stopped me to check out at the photo center, I said I was going to the front register as there was another item I needed from the wall, the girl then verbalized “oh lord” like I was creating some issue. Got my second item and I said thank you, where then the girl says “uh huh”. Rude when I entered rude, rude during my short time there and rude upon leaving.

  I hate this pharmacy the people that work there are so RUDE!! My Daughter in law had surgery in Birmingham and went to get her prescriptions filled when she got home and they wouldn’t fill them because her address wasn’t on the prescription. Well I am 48 years old and had a lot of prescriptions filled and hardly ever remember my address being on one. This pharmacy is one that needs to be cut from the list of Walgreens!

  Another screw-up in the continuing saga of a poorly managed pharmacy. My wife checked on the status of her prescription yesterday, Saturday, and was told that it would be ready after 11:00 a.m. Sunday. So she goes at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, and has to wait 45 minutes for them to prepare her prescription. And it's only partially filled, about 2/3 of what the prescription called for. This is a constant problem with her prescriptions at this Walgreens. Once she gets this prescription completed, IT WILL BE FILLED AT THE WAL-MART PHARMACY OR SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN THIS PLACE. Maybe it's time for Walgreens to make some personnel changes at this location.

  The manager was rude. Didn't feel like helping nobody and it had to be her way in store. She's very ugly to guest.

  They say they had my prescription ready and I got a text that said it was filled and to pick it up but I showed up to get it and they hadn’t filled it, they weren’t even processing it.
  
  One time they told me there was a problem with my insurance. I knew something didn’t feel right so I sat in the packing lot and called bcbs who said there was no issue.
  So I went back and they said the same thing, I asked for a different pharmacist to double check and all of a sudden there wasn’t an issue anymore.
  
  The first pharmacist was legitimately about to tell me to pay for an expensive medication out of pocket because she didn’t know how to do her job. And instead of getting someone else to help she just flat out lied.
  
  Seriously avoid this pharmacy. It’s not worth it.

  Don't try to call these people you will be on hold forever. The staff in the pharmacy will hang up on you instead of listening to you. Good luck getting your rx and if you do you probably will not get a full rx and have to come back, nothing is ever in stock.

  Medication isn’t ready when they said it would be, and it is very time sensitive. I keep calling to talk to someone on the phone and they keep hanging up on me.

  Pharmacy is ridiculous. The pharmacy assistants walk negative 5 miles an hour. They cancelled my order that had been ready for three days. While I was standing at the register and the P.A. had it in her hand! I was watching on my phone as it happened. Absolutely ridiculous. Horrible service.

  The worse Walgreens I have ever dealt with. Pharmacist is a real idiot. Total disaster going to CVS across the street they are under staffed here and clueless
