I went there with a solid silver quarter 1949 standing liberty first I was told it was only worth a dollar then a older gentleman looks and says 3. I took it elsewhere got 160. For my coin it doesn't have a mint mark but come to find out that it was minted in Philly worth more I felt like they just didn't want it or taking advantage the coin that I had didn't have a mint in was made in Philly none of them was minted it was rare but not best condition still was worth something in Google it says so but they used a book that was used for coins They shouldn't advertise that they buy coins if not knowing what exactly it is

I like wades jewelry and pawn shop because they give you the best price on your gold and diamonds. Or whoever it is you need money for. Plus they are heads above the other 3 pawn shops in the Tuscaloosa area. They are courteous quick which is really nice. They have a really good way of testing your products and it's easy to do and takes seconds.

THEY HELPED MY DAUGHTER OUT AND GAVE HER GREAT ADVICE ON FIRST WEAPON AND ALSO MADE KATHLEEN DAY WHEN FOUND OUT I WAS ME HER DAD BUYING HER FIRST GUN SHE WAS EXICTED! Entering the store, greeted promptly by a very knowledgeable and friendly young man. Was interested in purchasing hoop inside out diamond earrings, not available. He asked if he could help with anything else which I responded no, I stated I will just look around, so he went to next customer, as anyone would expect. While I was looking at handguns in showcase I seen one I was interested in and was patiently waiting for him to finish with his customer, another employee came out from a closed door and seen me standing there but he immediately went back behind closed door, so I continued to wait, in a few minutes this young girl walked into store, employee that had went behind door immediately came out to assist this young girl, I continued to wait, then the young girl left, instead of him asking if I needed help he went behind door again before I had the chance to say anything to him. The other very nice employee was still helping his other customer so I said to myself, just leave, which I did.Now I hope this update on my review is more satisfying to the owner, which (owner) took as a negative review when all I wrote was you had a very knowledgeable employee, not much jewelry but several guns. Sorry you took my 1st review negatively, hope this one is more to your liking. I only gave 3 stars because of the employee that was pickey about who he helped, otherwise I would have given 5 stars.I will say I have been to Wade's pawn shop many times, have purchased many item and this is my 1st aggravating experience. Although I was lied to by one of your employees in the past but let it go because I liked the diamond ring I purchased, the lie was I could take the ring to your recommended Jewelry store and have it sized for a certain price, it was over double the amount your employee told me it would be. I had it sized anyway.I will certainly visit this pawn shop again and encourage others to visit also. Normally there is several employees but this day I only seen 2 and only 1 was customer friendly.

If you want top money and help. Go see them at Wade's. Everyone is great and they will help you as best they can. Wade's is the best and only place I use. Have used them for many many years.

Had an awesome experience.The guy was super helpful with my questions, seem to know exactly what I was looking for, and I walked out of there with exactly what I wanted. For a better price than I was expecting, to be honest.If you're looking to purchase a firearm, Wades is the place to go.
