My car decided it would have mechanical issues at a bad time. I needed transportation for a appointment that was within 3 hours, and a little over 1 hour away. I called the rental department to get the requirements and cost. Arrived was in and out in less than 20 minutes!Service was fast and friendly, the price quoted on the phone was the price charged no hidden fees, 2022 very clean with no odor of smoke or anything else. The Sirius radio was a big plus for me!I Highly recommend!!Definitely my go to whenever I'm in need of a rental in the future!

The communication between salesman, accountants and management there is absolutely horrendous. I had made it very clear to a salesman that he needed to contact me prior to completing the sale especially if it would keep my father at the dealership all day and to call me to go over everything prior to completing the sale due to my dad being unable to hear everything they said. I even was putting down the earnest money where he could leave and we can finalize payment later. Apparently, as soon as Shawn Simpson took over, he knew best. He failed to communicate with his salesman. If he had, he would have been aware of the requests. Instead, he steamrolled the situation by promising quick turnaround and keeping my father there all day long. He was unable to expedite things as quickly as he stated. He stated he told my dad this but, again, my father is hard of hearing and likely did not even understand what he was being told totally. Mr. Simpson would have known this if he had listened to the background and information from his salesman. This is an issue because I work full time and my father was to pick up my son in the afternoon. So he drove his new car here but did not have time to drive the trade in back and get my vehicle which was a Tuscaloosa Toyota. My son still needed to be picked up at Pre-K. We ended up in a situation that we shouldn't have been in if management had actually listened to their salesman. Something else I had made clear to the salesman was I needed to be listed on the vehicle to have an insurable interest in the vehicle and insure the vehicle under my policy at a cheaper rate. Of course he had an answer for that, they can add me later. Which went against what I told the salesman prior. This is the second time that Tuscaloosa Toyota failed to listen. The first time they sold a vehicle out from under us because they did not inform their salesman the vehicle was actually sold. So my father thought he was going to get a car he liked with decent mileage and a good rate but due to another failure of communication from management, we lost that vehicle. By this point, we were already sort of fed up and just needed to get this done because we didn't have a lot of time. My father ended up with a car that has significantly more miles, higher price tag and is an older model... funny how that happened. I think their intention after the salesman makes the initial sale is to then try to rip off people they see as vulnerable. I would assume that comes down from management since management failed to tell the salesman that that vehicle was sold.... the day it came in. I used to be a customer of theirs but I would never do business with them. Not a chance. They advertise - no commissions but doesn't mean they're not ripping you off or failing the customer. I think they might have been a good company at some point but not anymore. Do not allow them to take advantage of your older parents who literally can hear every other word. Even when you made sure everyone was well aware. It's not my fault that Mr. Simpson won't listen or inquire with his salesman before taking over but he did manage to blame me and my father for it. Stand up guy... I will update after they buy my dad's vehicle from him tomorrow. I'm sure that's going to be a racket as well. I completely regret going with Tuscaloosa Toyota. I will not make the mistake again. I also asked his manager's information, funny how I didn't get that promptly. Still awaiting that! Another sidebar was he insinuated my father was buying the vehicle from me. Nope. I was helping my father not get ripped off and look at us now. There is more to the story that could have caused me custody issues. I'm not publicly posting it, but thanks so much Tuscaloosa Toyota!

The very best customer service! My mom, nephews and I were traveling fromJackson, ms to Birmingham for my nieces college graduation. We left home very early as graduation was at 9:00. Around 7:30 my moms alternator goes out on her car…..we didn’t know exactly what it was at first. We barely made it to Tuscaloosa and couldn’t get a rental from your typical rental car place bc no one was opening until 9:00. We discovered Toyota rental and had Uber get us there. They realized our emergency and worked diligently to get us a car and get us on the road. They were very thorough and were just so kind and respected our situation. We made it to graduation by 9:20 and got to see my niece walk. These precious people won the day for us! I highly recommend them simply bc good customer service is very hard to find these days and they rocked it.

Me and my Mother went there today to see about renting a car for our trip in July. Joey was extremely rude to my mother and spoke to us as if we were incompetent. This service was recommended my a family friend and we were so excited because we had saw the really affordable rates online. But after this experience we mostly likely will not be renting or recommending this service. We did speak with Paul the service manager and he was exceptional at listening to our complaint and taking it seriously so that is why I didn’t give it a one star. He recommended if we changed our mind speaking to Tracy who has very good customer service.

Love the Toyota Corolla I rented! Excellent customer service and an affordable price for $100 her 2 1/2 days :) I will be renting a car from them again next month. I may also buy a Toyota Rav.
