I bought a gray and a black pair of jegging slacks in March. I wore both pairs twice and then washed them per the instructions. I wore the gray pair to work the next day and by mid morning they were absolutely falling off me and were no longer jeggings but more like balloon pants. I went to Talbots after work so I could show them what they looked like. I have to say that the associates were rude and demeaning and I felt disrespected. I was told they could not take the pants back because they had been worn but they would give me 10% off anything I bought that day. I was disappointed in the quality of the pants and in the way I was treated by the associates. Needless to say, I will never go to Talbots again and I will never recommend anyone else go.

I first shopped Talbots in the 60's in Chevy Chase Maryland as a young career woman and shopped their sales as a young mother. I've been shopping in Tuscaloosa for years. I have always been greeted and told about sales or specials and asked if I were looking for anthing particular. Can't imagine anyone in Talbots being rude!

Flat out rude. I walked in with my six year old daughter today looking for a new semi professional outfit for my new position at the university. Not a person spoke to or acknowledged me. The clothes were very well displayed and I was interested in buying several things. Needless to say I walked out and did not buy anything.
