Synovus will not refund or reimburse fraudulent withdrawals from your account if they feel you were careless with your debit card or failed to secure your information sufficiently. They will investigate and ask a lot of questions and lead you to think they are helping but they’re actually looking for reasons to deny your claim. Even when the person who made the fraudulent withdrawals was identified, charged and arrested, they still refused to replace the funds stolen from our elderly widowed family member.

I have been on the phone for an hour trying to just pay my bill because you have changed the website to which we pay our bills. I can’t set up a new log in. I have never been treat with this much disrespect and rudeness in my life the way this company has treated me today is a true reflection on it’s customer service. I have been banking with them since 2004 but I’ll be changing company tomorrow.
