Took my car in because it was under warranty for the TCM and the clutch, and was told the TCM was backordered and they couldn't tell me when they could get one. They also said my clutch needed replacing, but it could not be done until the TCM, almost 2 years later and me going down there and calling, just to be told they couldn't find me in the system, because they had misspelled my name. Finally, they got the TCM, but said the clutch extended warranty had run out of date by that time. When they first diagnosed it, they told me to take it home, and when the TCM came in, they would do both. They both were under extended warranty, but since it had taken almost two years to get the TCM, the clutch is going to cost 4500. I was given the number to customer service warranty department, and they told me that Tuscaloosa Ford should have done the clutch when I first took it in. But they assured me that they would honor the clutch since the TCM was on a national backorder. I would have gladly let them replace the clutch while it was still under warranty, if they hadn't assured me that they would honner it no matter how long it took. Get everything in writing from them, because they will not be honest and stick to their word. Very disappointed!

Feel free to purchase a car here if you get a good deal. However, if you ever need it worked on I would highly suggest going to Birmingham. I'm from the community and have many family members and friends including myself who have nearly gotten scammed or did from the service department. Telling us certain things are wrong with our cars which is completely false after I ended up fixing those things and reading the codes myself. Especially beware if you a car/part recall or something they offer to do for free beware there might be extra charges for things. So get a written quote for them before. Don't let them do anything extra without notifying you. I repeat go to another Ford.

Every time I come here I have a problem. I was going to ONLY come here because I bought my car from here. But they have finally did me wrong enough times. I won't be returning now. Once they did not put my oil cap back on and the entire inside of my car smelt like burnt motor oil and so did my clothes. I ask them to wash it and they just and they just sprayed it with water and gave it back to me. Another time I went there to have my tire fixed because it was leaking ait was leaking air I went back 3 times in 1 day and then I finally told them I give up on them trying to fix my tire.Another time I asked for my price to be adjusted because I had a coupon. The guy took the coupon hit some numbers printed out the exact same receipt and changed absolutely nothing. I'm assuming he thought that I would not pay attention but I did. He was extremely rude and arrogant about the entire situation. Just laughed when I asked him why he didn't change it. They will always tell you it'll be about an hour that is never the case. This past time I came. I gave the guy checking me out my $20 off coupon. I told him I also had a coupon for the works package. The works package gives you an old change in a bunch of other stuff for $59.99. Regularly the works package cost me $64. I asked the teller why I'm still paying $57 when I have a coupon for $20 off? He said I'm not allowed to bundle my coupons. OK then WHY Wouldn't you use the $20 off 1 & give me the better deal? That was it. They got me for one more last $20. I won't be returning to Tuscaloosa Ford for anything ever again. Rude unpleasant workers and slow service every time.

I made an appointment for service, and they said I could wait a couple hours. I show up and the service dept says I need to leave the car for 2 or 3 days because they are backed up. No loaners available. So why did I make an appointment??? This is not the first time they have screwed me. Permanently lost my business.

Find two vehicles on the Tuscaloosa Ford website and called to confirm they were still available. They were available alright but at locations in GA. False advertising.

I did not have a great experience at Tuscaloosa Ford. It took them almost two weeks to even perform a diagnostic on my car. I understand that with COVID things will take longer than usual, but they kept telling me that they would look at it "in the next few days" even though it took almost two weeks. I would've at least liked to know in advance that it would be two whole weeks before they could look at my car so that I could have brought it somewhere else. In addition, the prices they charge for labor are incredibly high ($220/hr!). I had two $120 fuel pressure sensors replaced and the bill was over $1,200. I have had my car serviced at other places in Tuscaloosa and they provide better service at a lower cost. This was the first and last time I will be taking my car to Tuscaloosa Ford.

My F150 Lariat has developed transmission fluid leak. Called Tuscaloosa Ford service number 1/28/21 and was given a appointment time of 10:00 AM on 1/29/21. Arrived on time, went inside to drop keys with service person. They started asking all the same information questions I was asked on the call. I stopped them and asked if they could not just print the data from my call. At this point I was informed that it would be 2 weeks before they could look at my truck. I responded with, " why did you make a next day appointment to bring it in?" I was told told, "That was done by Atlanta. They do not know what we are doing." I turned and left. All I can say is FORD needs to get its service act together. There is no valid excuse to have done this. Very poor customer service.

I had an appointment to get the dash lights fixed on my 2020 mustang. I arrived on time and was told without looking at my vehicle that it would be 2 weeks before they cod fix it. Why make an appointment if you are not going to do tne service. Lost my business...

I called to make an appointment to drain excess oil and transmission fluid. The girl told me they could do it. I made an appointment. I got there about fifteen minutes early. I was in line at the service area in my car. I waited for fifteen minutes with no one welcoming me. I'm not sure if I was supposed to go in first. At the past two dealers I've been to you just pull up and they greet you. Anyway I parked and went inside. I told the man I had an appointment at that time and what for. He told me I had about four people in front of me and that it would about a 2.5 hr wait. So I don't know what the point of the appointment was. I asked him how much he thought it would be. A serviceman just happened to be there. He asked him if it could be done. The man said no. It would all have to be changed again. That is about a $400 service according to my other dealer. The whole reason I did it myself was to avoid that. So the woman on the phone told me it could be done. The man I talked to said it could, but then he asked another man who said it couldn't. The cherry on the cake: if they had even offered to check the fluid levels the whole thing would be resolved and turned around. I went to another place who checked the levels and said they were good. The only reason I gave two stars is that I went back in to ask if they could take old fluid. The same man didn't know. He kind of hesitated until the main manager said yes. So they did end up taking the fluid. Horrible first impression. Don't plan on going back.
