It is a very busy place on a very small lot. Happy business is good, but the owners should invest in a better location with larger lot! Not enough parking available for the amount of vehicles / traffic, very hectic!
The parking spaces you see from the street are angled wrong when Pitts Automotive is on your right. What ends up happening for people who have never visited this location before is you end up driving past Pitts Automotive and taking a right that ends up turning into the neighboring property / business next door. Then you have to get back on the main road to turn left into Pitts Automotive.
When you pull in and attempt to drive around to backside of building you get blocked in by vehicles parked all over the place and are unable to drive around the building to park in the angled spaces at front of building. You are then forced to back up and not hit any vehicles etc, when reversing. It’s like being in a maze!

I had a great experience getting my vehicle checked out at Pitts. I live close to the shop and it gives me confidence to know I have a good place to go if something happens.

I was worried I wouldn't be able to find a place I could trust to fix my car's air conditioning problem. Without air conditioning in this brutal heat, my car was useless to me. Pitts Automotive did a full diagnostic, and gave me an itemized list of costs for labor/parts, which included 36K/36mo. warranty on service and repair items! That's peace of mind. Plus, the people are lovely, Maggie shuttled me back and forth to my house. It was so nice of her to do that! My car was repaired well enough to use, so I don't feel stranded while waiting for parts. Fixing my car has never been such a pleasant experience!
Update: My car's air conditioning is working beautifully. A great place to get your car serviced, and excellent customer service as well. Highly recommended!

After finding more issues than time I had available. I brought an infiniti in rough shape in for a diagnostic. Fully expecting to be oversold on the cost of repairs and what was needed.
Pitts team ended up being extremely friendly, helpful, and informative. I found the estimates to be extremely reasonable and the digital repair report they use might be the best way i’ve dealt with a shop in a long time.
While we decided to get rid of the car in question, not complete the repairs, and just opt for a new vehicle. Overall the staff, ease of use, and communication have my wife and I sold on using them again in the future. You will not be disappointed.

I brought my car in for ac repairs and Pitts staff went above and beyond in diagnosing and repairing the issue. They tried 3 different ways to fix the issue and explained clearly what was wrong.They were very clear about what steps were being taken and I really liked getting an estimate with photos of them doing the procedures!!!! I will definitely bring my vehicles back here and thank them for their great service.

I was received very warmly by everybody in the shop. Pitts took my car in very promptly and assessed all that required attention to my Subaru Forester. This was my first visit to Pitts and the whole process went very much to my liking.

Pitt's was unbelievably fast and professional.
Their diagnostics are unlike any other mechanic shop I've ever been to. They caught major issues that other local shops and even the dealership didn't catch in the same week. They provide detailed pictures and recommendations per issue and offer generous warranties. 100% the shop to go to for any issue you have.

Best car repair service in Tuscaloosa. The Pitts service was friendly, fast, and comprehensive. They kept me informed consistently and explained thoroughly everything that needed to be repaired. They even sent pictures and videos!! My car went from 3 weeks of sitting untouched at one shop to being checked and repaired in 3 days at Pitts. I can't sing their praise enough. Highly recommend!
