On this day 5/29/2024 I went to this store to properly handle a return of a lawnmower that I had purchased which had broken down one day after use. The associate which took unnecessary time to decide to assist me treated me as if I had aFUNGUS AFTER ASKING THAT SHE PLEASE TAKE MY RECEIPT I WAS OFFERING HER SHE LOOKED LIKE I WAS WASTING HER TIME UNTIL A MALE ASSOSIATE SHOWED UP SHOWING ME KINDNESS. After returning to the service desk she had to be paged and waiting 30 minutes and treated with so disrespect I was done. I was going to reorder the $400 product but I cancelled it all. Racism is not only in one color or one culture. People please. I will never shop Lowe’s again because how this one woman treated me. I am white. And I love all colors but I just found out how it feels. So wrong.

My husband and I had the worst experience at the Lowe's ln Tuscaloosa off of 69. My husband and I were interested in purchasing a leaf blower and a impact wrench. We got the leaf blower OFF THE SHELF put it on a cart and continued to shop. While pushing the cart around the store a Lowe's employee in common attire and no name badge was following my husband around the store (while I was in the gardening area) until he finally stopped him and ACCUSED HIM OF STEALING!!! There was a confrontation that got really UGLY!!! We PURCHASED the items. This employee EMBARRASSED US IN FRONT OF A STORE FULL OF CUSTOMERS.!!!! Even after he found out that WE WEREN'T STEALING, HE DID NOT APOLOGIZE!!! HE EMBARRASSED US IN FRONT OF ALL OF THESE PEOPLE. HIS APOLOGY SHOULD HAVE BEEN JUST AS LOUD TO US AS HIS DISRESPECT WAS!!!!

Why does the Lowes Garden Center on Skyland in Tuscaloosa open at 8a instead of 6a like the one in Northport? I have to travel 15mins with morning traffic across the bridge to the Northport Lowes just to get soil and mulch, when I live 3mins away from the Tuscaloosa Lowes. I've even went to the garden center and saw the cashier standing behind the cash register waiting until somebody unlocks the gates or watering/putting out flowers. I inquired about it and was told that, "We try to have them open by 8."

I had a fantastic experience at the flooring department, thanks to Jackson. He went above and beyond to assist me, even outside of his regular hours, ensuring I connected with the right person and offering valuable professional advice. I'm very impressed and will certainly return. Kudos to the team for hiring such helpful staff!

Return policy is ridiculous. I will never buy anything from Lowe’s as long as I live. My contractor bought a toilet brand new installed it soon as we sat on the toilet seat the first time it snapped so I went to Lowe’s. They said that they couldn’t do anything about that so I bought a new one that the rep Referred me to buy, said that it would be a better seat The toilet seat was wooden, so it has screws in it soon as I get home install the toilet seat one side of the screws. It wasn’t on my card and I don’t have a receipt. They would not give a store credit.left it on the counter and told them to throw it away

Went to purchase 40 bags of mulch. Worker in the garden center told me I would have to load them myself. Found an employee in the back who ended up helping me. When I went to pay, I asked her where should I go to have the bags loaded. She looked at me and said - I don’t know. Her attitude and complete inability to assist me is embarrassing.

Had a lot of plants to choose from, also bought a ventilation fan/light combo for our bathroom, and the man helping me find what we needed was very helpful and didn't make me feel like I was stupid for the questions I ask.

Everytime I order curbside it takes a day before it’s even ready when it says it’ll be 3 hours. I paid for 20bags of top soil and it said ready, Before I could get to the store they called and said that my order was bought by customers. I had to cancel my whole order and go to the Northport store which is inconvenient because I live only 3 minutes away from this one. I like the store but the online order needs to get better.
