“3 star hotel?? Man, give it ALL the stars in every galaxy! Mr. Huey took very excellent care of me and our crew like we were family. Not a single negative thing about this place at all!Safety: Very secure and safe location.”

“Room was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had to knock a star off for service as they ran out of coffee at 7:10 on a Saturday morning and did not have any more brewed with a lobby full of people. Staying to wait for a fresh batch would have caused us to miss our flight. I realize it was a full hotel, but not realizing the coffee was running low and starting new tanks (these were 1 or more gallon tanks, not a standard coffee pot, they had viewable amount left displays) prior to running out is not good.”

“We had a great one night stay at the Embassy Suites. The staff were a highlight, from the reception desk, to the evening reception, and breakfast. Extremely kind and helpful. Great care and service! The bed was comfortable, room was clean, the hotel was quiet. The touches of the evening reception- free drinks and snacks from 5:30-7:30, and free breakfast were a wonderful perk, as well as free parking. We have no complaints and highly recommend the Embassy Suites Tuscaloosa.Walkability: Restaurants within walking distance, including one attached to the hotel.”

“Interesting drive into property. Very hilly and secluded feeling. Rooms were SUPER clean!! Hard wood floors, upscale showers!! Great breakfast choices with an automatic pancake maker! Service was great. Even had a computer for customers to use to print paperwork, which helps if you need to print invoices or BOLs for over the road work. . Best experience anywhere in the area.”

“Honestly, this was the best pet friendly hotel we have stayed at. They put us on the bottom floor close to the back door which was easy access to The Black Warrior Riverwalk (Riverwalk District Park). Breakfast was delicious. There were 4 city chargepoint chargers (closed at 10 P.M.) and 4 level two Tesla chargers (free to guests). Staff was friendly, helpful. Rooms were clean and modern.”

“This was a great stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating, breakfast was good and went an hour longer than most places. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I can say wasn't great was the housekeeping staff banging doors as they went down the hallways. It would be difficult to sleep in because they were seriously loud.Otherwise, no complaints. Will stay there again.”

“Great location right off of 59. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean, but outdated, that's ok for the price, I'd rather have cleanliness and worn furniture over the opposite! They seem to be refurbishing....the breakfast room was modern and very nice!”

“This will be our go to place while we are visiting our son in college. Great customer service, clean, friendly, and honest. I left some items there when we checked out and we went back about two hours later and they had it put away in case I returned. Btw...the shower is wonderful! My husband and son (6'3 & 6'4) did not have to bend over while taking a shower. The water pressure is amazing. We will definitely be back to stay here.”

“To caveat...I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa. The location where Ramada sits is prime real estate. It's right off the main interstate (I-20/59) and down the street from everything. You're not in the densely populated area which is a plus in my book. Within a mile you have a variety of eateries and such. The original Dreamland is about 6 miles away a bit further up the hill.I've been to this particular Ramada about 3 times this year. I was super hesitant to do business with anything bearing the Wyndham stamp simply because of a horrible experience with the Travelodge. Within the hospitality industry, there will always be an effort to "satisfy (get the money) of every consumer/patron". There is something for everyone. Ramada isn't top tier and that's okay. I will say this... it's at the top of its tier (at least for this location ?). Customer service can make a shabby place even shabbier, if not handled correctly. Each time I've been here, the staff have been top notch. No complaints. The staff keep the common areas clean, peaceful and inviting. It screams ROLL TIDE! The simple red uplighting installed outside starts the experience. The grand staircase leading to the second floor is the focus piece of the entrance. You feel as though you have entered a home. The carpets are clean as well as the stairwell. The rooms are average BUT clean. The touches of red throughout bring it all on one accord. The bathroom is small but functional. Dove products are mounted throughout. I've said enough already. At the end of the day...I was only there for sleep. Sleep I was able to get.”

“Clean, comfortable rooms, beds and pillows. Friendly, caring staff. Convenient location. Slight mildew smell, but we got used to that within a minute. They even offer free passes to planet fitness. An added bonus: I was able to keep my demons happy in the wonderfully hot shower!”

“Great location for us to visit Tuscaloosa!!Service friendly but just like all businesses today, it is hard to staff enough folks to deliver quality experiences during the breakfast ”

“The newly renovated rooms are beautiful. Very sleek and modern. Best part of my stay was Kaelyn. She greeted us with a beautiful smile and a personality that is quite honestly absent in most customer service roles. She was a joy to talk to. Give that special lady praise and a raise! You have a very special employee! A true gem!”

“It's just perfect after a long drive. Clean sheets, quiet elevators, get little store in the back, and the service from the whole staff is probably the best I have had in a while.Rooms: Super Clean. The sheets were white, the pillow cases were white, the towels I used to dry myself... yep! They were still white afterwards because I know how to shower.”

“The room was great! The mattress was a tad bit too firm for comfort for a full night’s sleep. Management staff was very nice all of them. The neighbors were friendly. It was greatly appreciated for the time my husband was there. I would book a room there in the future.Rooms: Rooms were clean and they had pest control to spray.Safety: It was secured no one could enter premises after 7:00 pm unless you had an activated room key.Food & drinks: Good location to get foods from a variety of restaurants and family’s house!”

“I stopped staying at motel 6 year's ago when the beds became hard as the floor, every wore out and dirty. This is the exception to the rule. Didn't look like much from the outside. But the room was clean, nice pillow top mattress, thick soft comfortable bedding, clean restroom and nice towels. Big tv too. THIS IS NOT THE OLD ONE. I DON'T THIS THIS HAS BEEN OPEN LONG. Manager and other staff were nice.Rooms: Nice room, comparable to a Sleep InnWould also like to note this is not the old motel 6, it is the new location north of 20/59”
