Would recommend Fincher & Ozment Jewelers in a heartbeat. The staff is great to work with, especially Tom, and the prices are fair! Even after moving several hours away from Tuscaloosa, I prefer to shop with Fincher & Ozment Jewelers compared to jewelers in my area.

Do not have your jewelry repaired here!! I have never had a jeweler return a ring after coming back from being repaired and not have them offer for me to look at it under the microscope. So after paying and leaving, I took it out to discover that a chunk of the ring was missing with a diamond set on an angle with the outer band rough to the touch and visibly damaged. After returning to the store, they offered to repair it again. After three more weeks, it was 'better' but the damage to the ring is still visible. Further, after having the ring back for only a few weeks, one of the stones is already missing that they replaced. Absolutely unacceptable and I would steer clear of trusting them with your jewelry!

Wow! The service, product, and assistance I received with selecting a custom pendant neclace was beyond extraordinary. I spent several days looking and making requests elsewhere for the jewelry I was looking to purchase for my spouce. I knew what I wanted - the highest quality oval cut birthstone with a solitary setting in silver accompanied with a 22 inch rope chain. I couldn't do gold because my wife has allergies. I couldn't afford platinum. Silver was the only option. I looked everywhere and wasn't able to find a AAA 8mm x 5mm stone that wasn't set with diamonds or set in gold or platinum - until I went to Fincher & Osment. Tom and his daughter spent over an hour helping me select the perfect gift! Tom even stayed late for me to pick it up after he completed the setting! What a wonderful shopping experience! I truly felt that they would go the extra 10 miles to match my needs.. . . And they did! I couldn't wait until Christmas to give it to my wife. She loves it and has told me she will never take it off! Thank you Tom and team for helping me make this holiday season one we will always remember!Derek Simpson

I brought in jewelry to be cleaned and appraised after I inherited items from my mother. Tom Ozment met with me and looked everything over briefly at the time I arrived, then took the pieces that needed further inspection. He performed a clear, concise appraisal that was very thorough and easy to understand, that will assist me in obtaining insurance for the pieces, as is my plan. I was provided with 2 copies of the official appraisal. Thank you for the thorough work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of a fine jewelry appraiser.
