I would like to give a great review for Ernest & Hadley for people who are not readers of books. This place has more charm than that store Meg Ryan ran in Sleepless In Seattle. The house that this store is in is gorgeous, and so fun to meander through. The staff is amazing with suggestions and really helped fill out my Christmas gift list. Tuscaloosa is lucky to have them here.

This bookstore is a must-visit for those who appreciate unique and well-maintained shops. It has an excellent collection of new books, a diverse selection of used books, and provides ample time to discover a book you'll have to buy. Very much worth a drive to see this place and it is worthy of a big footnote in the unique and special category of bookstores. Check it out!

Huge fan of this bookstore! It's organized so nicely, they have other cute items for sale. The women were so helpful and not pushy. They also have a resell bookstore in the back! I was able to get two great books for under $10, amazing. Definitely will be back

Super fun local bookstore. They have many specially curated sections you might not find elsewhere (e.g. southern authors) and a lot of odds and ends, like art by small artists. It's a great environment. They have used books in a separate building behind the main one. It is a very cute place with a lot of unique things to offer.

Super helpful and friendly staff and a beautifully curated collection that has all sorts of obscure titles and local authors. Also, they are walking distance from several spots to sit and read.
