I went in to CV S on 69 South August 26. Trying to purchase some insulin. They tell me they do not sell insulin excellent. You will have to have a prescription. I thought you can buy insulin at the pharmacy.
I don't know what the policies are, but they are not up-to-date with the days technology. The store manager.
Needs to get with it. The pharmacy in the back said they were not let them Sale insulin over-the-counter only at Walgreens and Walmart and I know that's Not true.

CVS MANAGEMENT AND STAFF DESERVE A HUGE RAISE FOR THEIR OUTSTANDING SERVICE THEY PROVIDE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS.

Terrible! Site allowed me to schedule a Covid test, gave me confirmation code, and video for what to do. Came to this location at scheduled time just to be told they don't do have the stuff to do Covid tests and also they were gonna charge me, even after on the website it says it would have been no cost due to me not having insurance. The worker said three other people were turned around as well. I advised they update their website, because they are confusing sick people who need to be home resting getting well. This is unacceptable.

Back in the 1990s before Walgreens and CVS cornered the prescription drug market, consumers had the option of going to locally owned pharmacies instead of those owned by corporate behemoths. I clearly remember bringing in prescriptions to a mom and pop pharmacy, and no matter how busy they were, I had my meds easily 10-15 minutes later. These locally owned pharmacies that are growing extinct usually had friendly faces behind the counter, and typically the pharmacist owned it. Enter CVS and its main competitor Walgreens and they are merely distributors of mass prescriptions. With our advances in communication technology, the doc no longer gives you a written script, but calls it in or it's sent over electronically in some fashion or another. You'd believe that this would make for a more efficient system, but it has actually made getting prescriptions filled a time sucking miserable experience.
Today, after leaving the urgent care, I went grocery shopping for an hour and then dropped by CVS. After waiting in line for 25 minutes, the technician said my scripts weren't ready and they had no idea when it would be ready. The subtext was 'get out of my line' as the people waiting behind me and in the drive through exceeded 18 people.
These kinds of common experiences make me wonder how corporations like CVS have "streamlined" the distribution of pharmaceuticals. Why did it take them nearly 9 hours to take some pills out of a large bottle and put them into a smaller one, and slap a label on it and the inhaler that the doc prescribed? What on earth are they doing there when the mom and pop pharmacy from the past could do this feat and follow all state and federal regulations in as short as 10 minutes?
Everything in the point of sale process took unnecessarily too long. I had to give the technician my name and date of birth, who then keyed it into their computer. Then they had to rummage through the mother lode of read prescriptions to find mine. That added 3-4 minutes to my otherwise 25 minute trip to pick up two scripts. Then when I had to pay for these meds, the debit card took me through 15 screens where I had to answer questions about contact information, preferred language, and various donations. Once I inserted my debit card, it took another 3-4 minutes to get to the screen where I entered my pin. Then the technician had left her window and I had to wait another 3-4 minutes to actually get my meds and the receipt. The technician told me nothing about the meds like a locally owned phramacist would do back in a more efficient, twentieth century past.

this “lady was leaning over your counter NOT doing her job and when i went up to checkout my false eyelashes she was SHORT and it was UNACCEPTABLE. SO RUDE AND SO UNPLEASANT. I will NOT be coming back if she’s working. Fire her immediately and i’ll be happy. Horrible customer service skills put her back in career prep

What a shame it is knowing some CVS stores will be closing down, yet the head pharmacist (woman) and some staff members have the audacity to have a smart mouth when it comes to filling people's prescriptions. I PRAY this location will be chosen to be shutdown. These people attitudes is insane. It's only the Females...Get your act together and maybe you can keep customers.CVS on 69 SOUTH is the WORST

I had a great experience they were friendly and helpful , I came to use my new OTC insurance card and was not feeling sure which products it covered. They provided a book of what was covered and helped me find the things I needed, They were friendly and made it easy for me .

I really like the fact that they have a little kiosk right as you get in the store. You can put your phone # in and coupons print out. I've used them on the same day. One day I tried using them and they wouldn't work, sales girl told me it might be that I have to wait a day before I can use them? CVS is 30 miles from me, gas is too high to go back tomorrow so I usually try to keep them as we seem to need to go to CVS every other week! I like the set up of the store. I like the flow and even if I'm waiting for a prescription I can scan the store and sometimes I find a BOGO I need! Staff is really nice at the pharmacy too!

IF you see this guy, then please be cautious! He followed me into the CVS parking lot. Luckily, there were people outside who saw him following me, so he just walked in. Please be careful though! He was clearly driving intoxicated and angrily!

The pharmacy is always backed up, customer service is mediocre, and they never answer the phone. Just go across the street to Walgreens. You’d be better off

You have one pharmacist here who is so hateful, condescending, and atrociously rude, that we are switching pharmacies after 12 years. She leaned over while chewing a fingernail and got an attitude because our meds had to be ordered and weren't available yet. I had not been advised and had no idea; which is not MY error. There is no excuse for how she has treated me on now multiple occasions. None. I don't know what her problem is, but being snotty to people who are sick or picking up medication for a child is never okay.

Have never had a positive experience at CVS Pharmacy. Have gone by 3 times waiting on a prescription to be filled. Said every time, be ready in 30 min, be ready in 15 min. Walgreens will forever be preferred. Absolutely ridiculous.

I have been trying to speak to someone in the pharmacy for a couple of days, each time holding for close to 30 minutes. RIDICULOUS!!
