The last of a disappearing specialty shop. Robert knows everything there is to know about radiators - and they can replace, repair, upgrade- or even fabricate one if yours is no longer available. They also can tow you in for a reasonable $85. Highly recommended.

Wow I wish I could give zero stars! This place was a nightmare to deal with! I’m in Florida but my son is in school at U of A—Bobby at Bama Radiator told me on Nov 2 that he would be able to get the car done in 2 days. Two days passed and I never heard from him. I finally called him and he said it would be ready the next morning. I called mid day when I hadn’t heard from him on Nov 4 and asked him why he wasn’t contacting me one way or the other, and he said he had been trying to call but my phone wouldn’t “accept his call”. Um. Ok. ? He told me the clutch he put in was “bad” and he would have to order another one. This goes on another SEVEN DAYS! He doesn’t call, I call and ask what’s up, he makes excuses. 9 days total he has the car when he originally said 2 days. Then he charges us $50 (5%) for planning to use a credit card, which is no where on the estimate. When we tried to give him the number over the phone, he said he was unequipped to take payments this way. He informed me that the “state of Alabama” couldn’t take payments over the phone from other states. ? This is not a company that concerns themselves with customer service, which is definitely not what you need in a mechanic.

DO NOT GO HERE! I went here over a year ago, and they kept my car a month. They also broke a $50 part on the intake and neglected to tell me. I just found out today from another mechanic that whoever put the heater core in (Bama Radiator), left some screws out of a part and it put my whole air conditioning system in a bind. All of the actuators, the air compressor, and the condenser went bad. This was an $1100 fix on top of the $750 I paid Bama Radiator. Please avoid them at all costs!!!! Horrible!

Waited a week on a gas tank that would only take 1 to 2 days got it back they claimed to have pressure tested the tank. lost 10 gallons of gas from the leak. I fixed the fuel leak myself. Bama Raditor won't return phone calls left several messages over the last few days my dad had to go several times to get an answer in person. crazy customer service.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with getting any vehicles worked on in my life! I will NOT recommend them to anyone!! It is bad business when you flat out lie to the customer and don’t keep their word. I could keep going but will leave it be. P.S it takes a whole lot of crap to get me to give a bad review! (Just saying)

I had my heater core replaced here, which took almost a month and cost $700. They put the old water and antifreeze back in the car, they broke a $50 part on the car's intake and neglected to tell me, and they threw everything out of the console and left it in the back floor board. Now the car has an annoying rattle in the dash. Do NOT take your vehicle to Bama Radiator!
