Costroe and Dominic checked my battery and alternator. Then they swapped out my battery since it was still under warranty at no cost. I won't be going anywhere else for car troubles, 10/10 customer service

My daughter is a student at UA, and I live 2.5 hrs away. Last week on 05/01/24, her vehicle, which we had just purchased( used) 2 days earlier, would not start. Her description made me thinknit was the battery, but couldn’t be sure that it wasn’t and alternator problem either. I called and got someone to give her a jump, and then directed her to the nearest auto parts store( not AutoZone) so that they could test the battery and see if it needed to be replaced. They did test it and and said it was bad, but also stated that they couldn’t change it because they could not remove the panel that over it??♂️??♂️?. It was just a plastic cover panel. So I called the nearest AutoZone (3500 Greensboro Ave, Tuscaloosa AL) , and asked if there was anything special with changing the battery for a Kia Sportage. The employee said he didn’t think it required any special handling, and did a cross reference on the vehicle just to make sure. So I sent my daughter to that location, they checked her battery and agreed that it was bad and needed to be replaced. They had her in and out in less than 20 minutes. She said they were all extremely nice. I know they were just doing their job, but they helped an anxious young lady out, and helped a dad 150 miles away feel confident that his baby girl was taken care of, and I am grateful and appreciative of that.

Came here while traveling since I had a check engine light come on the dashboard. The staff here were super friendly and read the trouble code for free. In addition, they printed out the sheet listing what the code meant so that I could take it to a mechanic. highly recommend!

I sat in the car for 20 minutes waiting to get my battery tested and no one came out. There was no one in the store and both workers took smoke breaks and ignored me as I waited for them. Terrible service I eventually got tired of waiting and went to a different one.

They need to hire more people. I was told they didn’t know when they could help me because they had too many customers to help and not enough staff so I went home without a battery and without seeing if I even needed one. It’s understandable but hire more people and this won’t be an issue.
