I have ordered from Shirley’s for 20+ years. I have a business and personal account. I have received flowers several times from them also for various occasions.
I’m really not sure what has happened but the past few years the costs have doubled/quality decreased. Last arrangement I received before Christmas was dead within a week. (Very few roses). I placed an order for an employee’e immediate family funeral. Looked everywhere at funeral home, no flowers. Called when I got back to the office and got “We received your order it was “lost in the system”. They would deliver right away. $150+ and the funeral was over. No discount. They would refund if I didn’t want them anymore. What a choice!
I hate lillies. I am allergic, they smell like a funeral home, and take up a lot of space for little expense. I have in bold on both of my accounts DO NOT USE LILLIES. I had my twin grand babies today when I called to order for a family funeral and forgot to remind them no lillies. I ordered a cut arrangement $150. I specifically said white and green arrangement with a few roses and hydrangeas. The roses were not white but the kicker was it had more lillies than any other flower in the arrangement! She ask if I wanted them removed. How to make that arrangement look right with that many void places was impossible. I’m so embarrassed they are representing my husband and I at the funeral I am seriously thinking of calling another place in the morning and having them deliver something else. I’ve said it at least three times but this is my final time to use Shirley’s.

Shirley’s comes through again! I ordered an arrangement online this morning around 10am to be delivered to UAB hospital. I received an email that they were delivered at 1:30pm and also confirmed by the recipient. What great service. Thank you to the staff and delivery person. You’re the best. ?????❤️

Gorgeous, as expected. I've never been disappointed in flowers ordered from Shirley's. The teapot arrangements for our daughter's tea party baby shower were breathtaking. Thank you, for once again adding your special, artistic touch to a cherished family event.

These staff are nothing but amazing. I was scammed by a fake Shirley’s phone number and went to pick up my corsage and it wasn’t ready because I was scammed by someone else. They made me one real quick and had it ready in two hours because I had prom that day. They were so helpful, kind, and so sorry that I had got scammed. I 10/10 recommend them. They also gave me a military discount. They saved my day… the sweetest employment.

Out of town buyer who was very pleased with my purchase. Thought the arrangement was beautiful, liked the email update that it was delivered, and the family that received it during their time of sadness loved it. It basically was a same day order and was delivered at 12:47 p.m. that day. I purchased the Graceful Devotion Funeral Flowers and attached pic of what I received. I would definitely use Shirley's again.

**OUT OF TOWN BUYERS BEWARE**: RIPPED OFF** SAME AS OTHER REVIEWSmy out of town family ordered a $100 medium floral arrangement to honor our loved one. We got a very small arrangement (pictured below 4” x 4”plain vase). When I called and asked how this was worth $100, the florist gave me excuses: online pictures could be deceiving; the cost of the vase was expensive, shipping costs, etc. They did not agree to send more flowers at no extra charge, so I paid AN ADDITIONAL $100 to avoid the embarrassment it caused my family to be represented by the tiny arrangement we already spent $100 on. No apology or offers to make it right, but they certainly accepted more money!! This added grief upon grief for my family.
