Dr Wendy is fantastic, the other vet (?) Very detailed phone message he left me on a Friday after blood work was reassuring. They care about your pets. I'm so grateful a friend recommended them to me as I have an elder cat with liver issues and they have done good by us

Love the Dr, but have never had a positive encounter with the rude receptionist to the point I’ve completely changed vets. It’s Unfortunate to leave such an awesome Dr because of the receptionist.

The male vet saved my kitty. That’s not the reason for the two stars. The receptionist was the problem. She behaved was rude and uncaring as soon as I walked up to the counter to check in. I had been up all night because I was traumatized with worry for my Kitty’s health. I called as soon as they opened to get an appointment. I was told to show up at 10am. I did exactly that. I made completely sure I was on time and was fully aware of the time they gave me when I called earlier to come in because I was counting the minutes to get there I was so upset for my baby. This woman tried to actually argue with me that it was for 9:30 or 9am can’t remember exactly what she said at the time. I was standing there with sleep deprivation and anxiety and she tried her best to argue with me that I was not on time. She was ugly and rude and seemed to not have any empathy. My kitty was in her carrier sick, hadn’t eaten in over a day, had been throwing up stomach bile at home before the visit, while this woman and her nastiness carried on. Moreover, I started feeling scard I might not get to see a vet because of her accusations I was late. She finally sent me to a room to wait for a vet. When I went to pay the over a hundred dollar bill (I was just happy my kitty got checked out and medicine given, regardless of money) in full, this woman kept up her bad vibe. I didn’t need this with everything I just explained. Why can’t vets hire compassionate front desk people? Ugg it sucks so much!! This isn’t the first experience I’ve had with mean front desk women at a vet.
I won’t ever be back to this clinic because of the first impression I received, which was unpleasant and unsafe for me and my kitty who I dearly love.

Love it my dog Luna would not be with me today if not for the care and love this place gives and still does after three years and still continues to check on my dog and cares about her the vet is top of the line

Denise, the front desk lady, was not informative or nice whatsoever, so I don’t trust my animals in the care of them.

Wendy is the absolute best vet I have ever worked with. She’s kind, knowledgeable, and extremely compassionate towards everyone and everything. Her and the entire staff takes such good care of the animals as well as us owners. She spends her time explaining everything to you, asks enough questions, and actually listens to you. They never try and upsell you things you don’t need. I cannot recommend Little Cahaba enough.

The office squeezed me in to see the doctor after our dog had been attacked by three dogs! The attackwas traumatizing for me ( I witnessed it)and our dog, but the entire staff was professional and calming. After a prescription of antibiotics and pain pills we were good to go. I highly recommend Little Cahaba Animal Hospital.
