“This best western in Troy al was incredible , the staff was a young man and and a young woman named kinsleigh S.
Kinsleigh was out going and friendly and patient - she made the stay very pleasent . The young man who worked with her was a pleasure too .
We made a last minute booking - we had 5 children with us- we had a double queen room and they provided an extra bed , the room was immaculate- had no for - the sheets were spotless bedcover spotless , the bathroom spotless and the light switches were spotless , the hallways were spotless , the grounds were spotless ,we were treated the next morning to a free hot breakfast - waffles, eggs, sausage, sausage gravy , cereal ,bagels, raisin toast , muffins , juices coffee milk - the cook was very friendly .

“We ended up staying a second night as this was such a great Motel 6 ... and we needed a rest.

The property is on the highway about as close as the highway gets to the old town square, and a couple of miles north of all the stripmalls, shops and fast food - so it's pretty quiet but close enough to get to whatever you want. Our room was spotless and everything in good condition. The free wifi was better than average and the grounds were in great shape as well.

As far as Motel 6s go - and we've stayed in many traveling the country the last six months - this is one of the nicest we've found.”

“I had a nice stay with my family. They allow dogs and the pet fee is reasonable. Room was clean. People complain about things that are stated in the hotel’s website, like no breakfast included or parking fee. If you don’t do your research before booking a hotel room, you have no right to complain. They didn’t hide the information and surprisingly charge it.
The ladies at the front desk were lovely and super friendly.

Rooms: Comfortable bed and clean sheets. Everything was working properly. No issues

“The room was clean, and the hotel, in general, was also. The elevator needs cleaning of floors and walls. The 24-hour coffee/tea bar is a great addition. The meals were great in the morning and the kitchen staff is great!Noteworthy details: Ruby Tuesdays in front of the hotel had terrible service, and the food was ok when we finally got it.”

“I'm not sure why the hotel is a 2-star. We had a room with double bed. Rooms are very spacious, beds comfortable, bathroom clean, TV works with many options and remote, air conditioner worked great. Close to eating places, gas stations, and stores. Felt very safe. The was going to do 4 stars bc there was some salsa in a bowl left in the fridge from the previous guest. I'm holding both the previous guest and cleaning crew responsible. People clean up behind yourself, cleaning crew every inch of the room should be inspected and cleaned. Otherwise the hotel was great.
