“Great place to look around- I purchased a cute pair of shorts and a nice top for $5. I don't know what people are expecting but this is a volunteer organization- if you're rude to them, the they should be rude to you. I had an amazing experience. I am from out of town - Pennsylvania- so if you want rude - come to my state. I was very happy and met some lovely women in the dressing area. See for yourself and shop for yourself - wonderful place. Plus it's for charity. Win - Win”

3985 Cottage Hill Rd, Mobile“The Waterfront Rescue Mission thrift shop on Cottage Hill is such a unique shop filled with treasures large and small. The ladies that work in the front are very helpful, hard working and kind, as well as those helping to unload donations in the rear! It’s a joy to donate and shop to help support this great mission. One of the coolest things about this shop is the organization. They usually group related items together in a way that appears like a home; such as pieces pulled together to create a living room, bedroom, dining room, etc. they even place nice China sets on the tables!I love how these ladies have made this thrift shop something special and unique; sets it apart from the rest and helps raise much needed money for the mission. ?? The Christian music is always a reminder of their mission and goals. It’s a joy to support this shop’s mission by donating items and thrifting with fam and friends!”

“As Thrift stores go, this is one of the better ones. They have a good system of putting newer clothes in a color code system so if you are a frequent visitor you don't have to search clothes you have already seen.I wish they had a decent dressing room system and more modern and better kept bathrooms. They should downsize the book space and put dressing rooms there. The store is fairly well kept and doesn't smell like some of the other thrift stores. I do not to hear constant religious music.I've always found the staff to be pleasant.”

300 Azalea Rd unit f, Mobile“My go to thrift store near the university of south Alabama. It’s pretty small so it’s fun for a quick run through and it’s just off airport so it’s super convenient. They typically have a lot of furniture too for how small they are. I have found vintage suitcases, mini expensive pieces in my fine china set, and one of the cutest clothing finds I’ve ever made. Definitely recommend this place. I feel like the smaller size definitely keeps me from breaking my wallet!”

7431 Airport Blvd, Mobile“I really love this place. You have to work your way through it to find the gems but I've always found my fair share ? of great items. It's the highlight of my life to come here and search who the bins to see if I could find something I really need or something I could give to my great-grandkids it's amazing.”
“Love this location. All of the girls are super sweet. I feel so bad for them at time because some customers are SO disrespectful and rude to them for no reason at all but they handle themselves VERY well and professionally. So sad at how these girls are treated at times, at least they are out there working and trying unlikes some adults that think the world should bow down to them and everyone owes them something! Keep it up ladies you’re doing great! ?”
“The type of stores I love: a labyrinth of shelves with a lot of random stuff covered with dust. Messy, dark, tight. I really love the thrift/antique stores with such atmosphere, much more enjoyable to scroll through than in well organized shops, especially when the prices are attractive. But here prices are medium and up.”
