“I absolutely love this place! They have such a huge variety of produce and specialty items. The workers are always ready to help if you need anything. The market is always clean and there's plenty of space to get around. I love that this is a family business. I've also asked about specific products and they do everything they can to get it in stock. On my visit today they had beautiful decorative pumpkins and gourds and mums of all colors on sale!”

“At one POINT I almost STOPPED coming to Rouses reason Covid had just hit, ONLY had 1 cashier and a bagger and some stockers during the time of my visit, had what appeared to be 2 managers standing at the return desk and I guess it was the other cashier that would be working, at this TIME Rouses had a great sale my reason for always coming HERE, so the line started to get longer and customers getting frustrated, I understood bc the cashier and the bagger were young, so the people that was in front of me and behind me I excused myself told them I’m about to go and get HELP so as I get to the counter I asked the guy manager about someone helping your cashier out bc this makes no sense with two of y’all behind the counter and another one waiting to count a register, as I walked away a lady manager asked what the PROBLEM was and I explained to her ma’am you see these kids out here struggling and NOT one person came to HELP them, and please do NOT get an attitude bc I’m one to write reviews and call cooperate bc this is my HARD earned money that I’m bringing to your place of employment to keep you with a job, after that I proceed to go back to the line and told the people that held my place that someone is coming to HELP, so as the cashier proceeds to come to her register she had an attitude and that drew the straw, so me I went home and called and HO and sure enough I received a phone call back immediately and that what made me continue to give them my money bc of the swift response that should’ve been HANDLED at the store.”

“Last stop before the island! Gas was decently priced here compared to other stations as you get closer to Dauphin. I loved this little place. They had a deli, market, pharmacy, and the hardware store connected. It was cute and gave off small town vibes. They had a large selection of what may be hard to find chips and drinks in other locations. Many locals picking up medicine or buying hardware supplies. Great little "hometown" market.”

“I like Winn Dixie and this location has very nice staff. Other stores ice shopped near me have disrespect for some customers, I guess they pick and choose but not Winn Dixie & I love getting rewards to cut my cost. Been shopping with them for many years & will continue”

“Great service, awesome food! Lowkey and relaxed, we're immediately made welcome. Sitting down had room to ourselves and were eating soon afterwards. Menu is varied and affordable. Great place for good cheap eats! Recommend michelatas and camarone tacos, make sure to get avocado side: best I've ever had from coast to coast.Highly recommended!!”

“Lovely little hometown market. They had almost everything I was looking for. The only thing missing was a specific type of Goat Cheese, and it was not a big deal for me. Prices are a bit higher than I am used to. Clean and friendly staff. I would recommend going here to 1) support your local small business owner, 2) to find everything you need heading your way to the island.”

“Nice, clean store and for the most part everyone's polite,, most of the time it's busy, but you won't have to wait long. Checkout goes pretty fast. Only complaint is that the shelves are almost always kinda bare, it's hit or miss if they have what u need in stock.”

“I shop there daily and it's always clean. They are needing workers that's why it's not to speedy but the cashier was doing her best training when she's was in training herself. She never got rude and apologized for any inconvience. She held her composer and got us all out of there as quick as she could. She is always busy doing something on the floor and quick to help her cowoker on top of doing the first shifts job. Poor woman never gets a lunch break without having to cone help check customers out. That woman deserves recognition. Way to go Dollar General you finally hired someone that actually works. I think her name was Jessica . Maybe she'll see this and know that some people are actually patient and recognize what hard job she has and it's appreciated. As far as customers go they need to keep their trash in there car the staff shouldn't have to pick up behind grown adults . You've been seen dumping your trash out for them to pick up. Makes me angry to see bad reviews on here saying its nasty or there's a long line. Corporate needs to hire help so its not put on just one or two people. It didn't get to be that way over night and it ain't going to change overnight. Instead of complaining suggest a solution.”

“I love this store because it’s small and has all of the essentials. It’s very easy to get in and out. The best part is that it’s much closer to my house so I save gas and time by coming to this location.”

“It was very well stocked. Appearance was nice and employees were friendly. Rating 4 stars because the card machine kept acting up so my checkout time was longer than usual.”

“I like this DG. They have items that the others around me don't and the tax is much less than the area where I live. Unfortunately because of Covid and the BS it brought with it, they are out of quite a lot of items, but they are slowly beginning to get those products back or replacing them with something else. I love that they have a produce section now and usually the fruits and veggies are in pretty good shape and fresh. My only complaint about this store is the lighting and that they don't always have what I want, but that's not their fault.”
