“First skate shop in the state I’ve been to where I felt like they had a great selection. My issue with boards is that they’re always ugly- just name brands and skulls and basic stuff. That was not the case here. So much color and design. I’ll be coming back when I need another board. The guy that was working here today was very friendly and knowledgeable.”
“A friend of mine has been talking about this place for a few years now and he finally took me yesterday! He loves it for their high-end, cotton bandanas that come in a lot of cool, one of a kind prints. I was slightly confused by the place. They sell some cosmetic products, perfumes, hats, and clothes. They have a rack in the back for more thrifted/vintage items ranging from $15-$110, but they also have new shirts in the front of the store costing about $100. I found a gold ring that I liked and was nervous to ask about the price but it seemed reasonable at $30, so I got it! I’m really glad to have trendy shops populating downtown Woodlawn, because I’d like to see more business in my local area. I’m just unsure about the price point of this store. I will be back to check out the jewelry and thrift rack in the back though! The cashier we chatted with as we shopped was super kind and personable.”

“I used to wear a suit, braces and French cuffs everyday to go to work, but never had a custom suit. After years of not wearing a suit, I had a series of important events that required suiting up. My friend encouraged me to try a custom suit at John's. What a nice experience and what an awesome suit. Not only do you get to choose fabric and style, you get a suit that is exactly fitted for your body. A suit that hangs just perfect. I feel terrific in it and get lots of compliments. I highly suggest seeing Beau or John for a custom suit.”

“Couldn’t have had a better experience. I was visiting from out of town and had the pleasure of meeting Paul. He was incredible! Just a couple of small items he had pulled from a phone call before I arrived. He ended up assisting me with a new pair of pants that were hemmed and ready to pick up the next day. Definitely a one stop shop for any and everything in a men’s clothier!”

“One of my favorite places to shop. Inflation hit there hard like everywhere else but still one of the best places for cheap jewelry and cosmetics. The mens clothing is the better selection and prices as opposed to the women's but theres almost always a clearance rack in every area.”
“Ms Thomas was amazing. I was visiting from Florida and found this store online. Everything I hoped for purchasing was available. The styles and patterns of the jackets and suits were over the top. Thank you Ms. Thomas even though you wouldn’t separate the suits. lol This is an inside joke.”

“This Birmingham Orvis is fantastic. Most of my clothes are Orvis. I enjoy that the clothing can be dressed up and professional while I sell real estate but I can also put it to the test while I am adventuring and doing outdoor activities. Very friendly staff and a good collection of clothing and fly fishing gear. Highly recommend this place!”

“Came across Pants Store in search for some shoes I haven't been able to find anywhere in person but they had! I ordered online to ensure pickup as I was coming through from out of town, and amazing doesn't even begin to describe this store, but more importantly the staff!! Apologies in advance for a long review but,I could write a page describing how wonderful my experience was here. To keep a long story shortish...I was unaware of the store sale going on and was contacted before even arriving that they honored that price without me even asking. I decided to come back for another pair on my way back home a week later, to find even BETTER deals so had to grab a couple pairs for some friends too. I have to give wonderful kudos to the one lady in particular that helped me both days.
