Terrible service. I called in advanced for my daughters and I to pick out a dog. The lady there was not friendly, did not allow us to see any dogs, and she did not tell us in advance what her requirements were. She wasted our time coming to this place when we could have made it to another place in time to look at other dogs.

Very nice animal rescue, no kill shelter. Donated money in memory of our German Shepherd who died 7 Dec 2022.

I called this place an hour before I came just to make sure they were open. I let them know that I was looking for a dog to adopt and that I was driving an hour and a half away. When I arrived, I find out that I can’t view any of the dog they had because they not only have sheltered dogs but are a petsitting service and I’m not allowed to go to the back to see the dogs for adoption. Such a waste of my time and gas!

We had a wonderful experience. We wanted a friend for our big boy Peanut and the staff was very patient as they brought out a few dogs that didn't match well with our dog, just as we thought it wasn't going to work they brought out Adira and Peanut fell in love instantly. They are now best friends ❤. We are so glad we went to Peace Love and Animals Adira is a wonderful addition to our family.

Lady I talked with was polite answering my question but the looks she gave me and my 4 kids definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. She looked at us like we were a threat and we never even got out. We're new to the area so I was just trying to find out where I could take my dog because she's not allowed at our new place but instead I left feeling like I messed up and I didn't even do anything. Oh well maybe it was my color and afro

I went inside wanting to look at the animals. One lady was going to let me see the dogs but the other that was in charge of the cats told us we have to have an appointment after I drove 40 minutes to this place. It confused me why one person was willing to show me the animals but the other said no and that they close in an hour. I’ll be visiting another shelter.
