The bank itself is 5 stars, but The Teller in the drive thru is one of the rudest ladies! She truly doesn’t need to be in customer service. I was in banking for 5 years and never once treated someone how she does people. You pull up and she just stares at you, then turns off her mic and proceeds to mouth about you like you can’t see. Definitely makes you reconsider where you bank!

I hope the stevenson branch is a much better place an more available than the higdon branch,you can never reach a loan officer, the manager is always gone or on vacation everytime i call or go in there been banking there for a long time an ive had enough, been waiting on a answer about a loan for 3 weeks, still no answer ,good luck with this place

Bad customer service at the Stevenson Ala branch. I no longer do business with this bank because I was treated horrible!! I was a member of this branch for 15 years. Find another bank!!

Well about 5 years ago I could not get a loan from anyone, my credit was terrible.So I went to First Southern in Stevenson, I waited to talk to the president of the bank.( Jack Lovelady).. I didn't go in needing a large loan I needed someone to have a little trust in me. To help build my credit back up.. so happy to say they are my go to when I need anything..Thankful for the great people at first Southern

this bank sucks. the customer service sucks. if you have an issue, you are told 2 separate things. the one person who is apparently the only person who can make a decision is never available.

My debit card was hacked today. I was so pleased with the swiftness and efficiency in the way it was taken care of! The fraud center sent an email, I then spoke with book keeping, everything handled. With ZERO coming out of my account! Thank you, First Southern State Bank!
