This establishment is incredibly sloppy. Maybe, if the owner was actually around, and not too embarrassed to show up at his business when he is suppose to there, it wouldn't be so sloppy.

They towed my brothers vehicle and had it on their lot for 6 hours. They charged us $370 and only take cash. Absolutely horrible customer service , and as I've seen by the comments, we were treated no differently than everyone else they've serviced. We were also told to pick up at 8 and when we got there @750, we were told they weren't open until 830. The local ATM was out of service. Thankfully the local Gargus Market store right down the road was able to help us out!Corbin doesn't take triple A, they over charge, and only take cash. DO NOT RECOMMEND.Edit2.27.23: breakdown or police shouldn't matter with how we were treated. Your customer service was horrible. Even with other customer reviews where it was just a break down your office lady was rude.My brother may have gotten it towed, but I went to help him and I did NOT appreciate how I was treated by your folks. And in regard to "the good folks", I am one and your service that day was rude.

I would recommend to anybody that ask. They are professional, respectful, and prompt. Took only 30 minutes for them to get to me after being dispatched.

This is the best towing company I have ever experienced. They were very prompt getting out onto the interstate and getting me off the highway. Then they took me to a local hotel and waited with me until I was able to check in, and the following morning picked me back up and took me and my rig to the service repair shop and also took me into town and dropped me off after unhooked my rig so I can eat. Mark was a super nice man.

They towed my car when my brother got stopped by police 1.5 miles from their location without a license. Despite their quoted cost of $70 to hook up and $4 a mile, they charged us $365 for towing 1.5 miles plus the expected $40 a day for storage. They would not accept a credit card for payment despite account being open 30 years stating "cash only" " our customers are not the highest class of people". Then when I brought cash the next day, they said the didn't have change, and if I couldn't get exact , it would be $40 more the next day. There were many more insults thrown my way, including being made to sign acknowledging the car was not damaged without being able to see the car first and told if I didn't sign it I wouldn't get my car despite all fees being paid.

This company does not care anything at all about their customers! They let it be known the only thing their worried about/there for is $$$$!!Then add the extremely hateful lady who took our payment, she was so rude & made it clear by her actions and expressions that she had zero desire to have to interact w/us at all!!!Short story: My vehicle broke down on Greensport Rd & so I left it parked in the corner edge of Mcentyre Baptist Church parking lot{furthest I got it}Went back Tues. afternoon & Jeep was gone! After making several calls, Discovered St. Clair County Sheriff's Office had Corbin Wrecker Service tow it.Wanna guess what I was charged??To tow it from Mcentyre Baptist to their shop(13.7 miles) keep it in their lot from 1:30pm Tues until 10:30am Wed.PLUS, I had have it towed to my house & after being screwed by Corbin'sNo way I couldve afforded for them to tow it so a diff. Wrecker Service picked it up & brought it to my house, adding on another $100 billThanks to Corbin's Wrecker Service in Ashville for charging me a RIDICULOUS price for the 16 hrs it was parked on your lot!!! ?

My car was towed by Corbin while on loan to a relative. Since I found out 2 weeks later, I expected it to be pricey but I didn't expect to be treated with such disrepect & indifference. I am from out of town so I went online for directions and saw credit cards accepted & open 24 hrs. After going to Court House and paying for car to be released Corbin's cost was $925 (cash only) & closing at 4:30, so $40 more tomorrow. I had Visa credit, Mastercard debit or Paypal. They explained, "reason we can only deal in cash is because our customers are not the highest class of people." Next day, clerk met me at door only to come out lock door. " It will be a minute". She then stood outside smoking for about 10 min while someone got their belongings out of a car, but then came back in before they finished saying she could watch on the camera. I handed her $1000 for the $965 and was told they didnt have change, I needed to go get exact change and they were closing soon. I commented on a cash only buisness with no cash and she said loudly " Look, I am not the one that went to jail." After reminding her I was not the one either, my son and I came up with exactly $965. I was then told to sign an ACKNOWLEDGEMENT "... that services listed were completed in a damage free manner, upon signing you assure there were no damages to the vehicle listed resulting from these services." After reading I asked to see my car before signing and was told no. I explained that I wasn't comfortable signing that I checked vehicle when I had not even seen the car.I was loudly told that wasn't what I was signing, it was just me saying car was released to me, and if I didnt sign, I was not getting car and she would close up for the day and it would cost more tomorrow. I asked for itemized receipt but it only said Towing/ Labor $965. Once outside clerks tone changed as she admitted not knowing what paper said, only doing as she was told so not to get fired. After getting home. I determined at $40 a day for 16 days, they had charged $320 to tow the car 1.6 miles. I paid release at court house. Later I called for a quote from Corbin on cost to tow a vehicle and was told $70 hook up plus $4 a mile. My relative reimbursed me all cost except for the humiliation I endured. If this is how people are treated when making mistakes, no wonder some can't ever get back on their feet. Also, while waiting outside I noticed file folders with photocopies of peoples identification/DL in their front window in view for anyone to see. They need to I have pics and video off most of th

I asked for my vehicle to be towed to my house, which was less than a mile away. I was told that it had to be taken to their shop, then I was charged a storage fee for each day that they were closed.

We were told they would call us when our insurance settled with them. The owner called every week to check in with us. I hadnt heard from him so today I called. They got paid 12/23/21 and just keep adding storage. He knows we had to make accomidations from Maine to come get the trailer. SHADY SHADY company. Tried to charge our insrance company for three wreckers, and lots of extra stuff to the bill, but couoln't produce a itemized bill! Please don't find yourself in the same situation were in now. USE A DIFFRENT TOW COMPANY. from start to finish these guys are NOT profressional.
