I went in to see if they had any old double barrels or lever actions in stock. Within the last six months I have invested and collected these type firearms. Did they have what I wanted? Yes!Did I get to look at anything to see if it is what I was looking for? NO!I stood there waiting on someone to offer help and after ten to fifteen minutes of waiting I paid for my ammunition and left. I will not be going back for anything. This is not the first time this has happened.Maybe it is because I am old or overweight or whatever.To prove this is real, at the end where the shotguns and rifles are on the wall behind the revolver case is where I was looking.When looking at the long guns I was really wanting to look at the old lever action, Winchester or Marlin with a 26" barrel. Also the six or seven sxs double barrels on the opposite end of the lever action rifle. Price does not matter if it is what I want.A lost sale is one that can never be made up no matter how hard you work!I will say this, the ladies are always polite and friendly!

This is my local gun store and I love them. They are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. The staff is always very helpful and come ask you if you need anything. Never have to wait for assistance. Very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to long time gun owners and first timers. Go check these guys out.

I highly recommend South's Outpost after taking my rifle on two separate occasions to a different place to have it boresighted and still not being able to hit paper at 25 yards. I went and saw Tony and he had me hitting on target at 100 yards with just a few clicks. Tony's awesome and very knowledgeable.

My husband and I heard about this store when we took a handgun class sponsored by the Spanish Fort Police Department. Lunch for this event was provided by the Outpost Gun Store. We went to shop for a few things and support this local store. The store had all the items we were looking for and ordered another item online while in the store. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. So glad to find this great store!

This place is the bees knees cuz. Need a specific ammo call these folks need a specific rifle caliber call these folks. Need a good conversation in man/woman hood of arms go see these folks. According to other reviews that's 1 star rating outpost is a snooty joint essentially, the only ones snooty is the ones making the bad review cause you called in or walked in on a busy day. I absolutely love outpost elite. The respect is awesome the firearm intelligence is amazing the experience in general is the best. I bought my first pistol from them in 2017 i had 0 complications with any paper work through them. If your down for the guns glory and bang, I suggest going to The Outpost Elite.
