“Beautiful view, make sure you specifically request a Riverview room. My husband loved the view, the windows were floor to ceiling. The pool area was fantastic, they have a small splash pad for the kids which my son loved. Make sure to get more than one room key if it’s more than one of you bc you need it to go anywhere in the elevator. Loved that the pool had on site bathrooms with 3-4 stalls in the women’s so your not waiting soaken wet to use the restroom. The only thing I did not like about this hotel was the cleaning lady knocking on my door and then opening it before I could even get to the door to ask when I am leaving. First off I had already requested a late check out and wasn’t leaving until 12:30 & it was like 9 in the morning. Secondly what if I had been naked or something. Crazy.”
“We stayed here for 3 nights. If you like history and old historical homes, then the Malaga Inn is for you! The Malaga Inn shows its age but is still nice and cozy. The staff is very hospitable. I’m not gonna nitpick every little thing, but one thing was the WiFi in the rooms. It was pretty much nonexistent. We had to go to the lobby to get anything to load. It was fine, we made it work. I definitely recommend Malaga Inn.”
“We had an issue figuring out the television, help came IMMEDIATELY after calling and figured it out, simple. We needed a microwave to make a bottle for the baby to sleep, it was in our room within MINUTES. Chris White at the front desk was SO HELPFUL, above and beyond. We are currently staying here so I hope the amazing service lasts our whole trip, I have no doubt at all that it will!”
“I stay there always. Rooms were all booked, so I had to go to Mobile but other than that the place is a great place to stay.
Rooms: Rooms are always clean, and two sides to choose from city or bay view.
Nearby activities: Tons of activities......

“Front desk was super nice. Hotel room was clean with the exception of the bottom of the shower curtain having mold stains. The next morning woke up to luke warm water while taking a shower that never warmed up. Did not eat the breakfast as there is a Cracker Barrel across the street that we chose, however it did look like a full array of breakfast options on display when we walked by the kitchen area. Overall it wasn’t a bad stay.”
“We are on a cross country road trip and made a last minute reservation. We came in super late to a room that wasn’t ready. Myah was working the front desk, and she let us in to wait while she personally got a different room ready for us. She was so nice and helpful. Our room was great, breakfast in the morning was great, just an overall very nice and friendly experience. All of the staff are wonderfully personable and so sweet. They offered to refund us our room for our trouble when we checked out. Great hotel, great people.”

“We had a wonderful experience staying here. We stayed Friday thru Sunday for a tournament. The room was tidy and smelled freshly cleaned. The kitchenette was well equipped, beds comfy, ac nice and cold. The kids enjoyed the pool. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the Mobile Convention Center, the Explorium, dining, and more! The front desk staff were very courteous and professional. When our tournament schedule was delayed, they graciously allowed us a later checkout time. Ohh! And the washer and dryers are complementary — so I could wash uniforms without lugging around quarters! They do not have size limits on dogs so we were able to bring our goodest boy as well. If our team travels to Mobile again, we will be staying at Candlewood Suites!”

“This place is nice! We loved the pool and breakfast was great but my favorite part was Daniel! He was so friendly and attentive! We used the towels in our room for the pool so on the way back to the room I stopped and asked for more and he said he would send some up and like 2 seconds after we shut out door there was a knock it was someone with the towels. The only negative for me was even with the ceiling fan the room with beds wasn’t getting the air from the main room but because of everything else I would still be happy to stay again ?”

“Pros: the location to restaurants, shopping and other amenities, front desk service, comfortable bed. Cons: No continental breakfast, just Bistro style that was closed the first two days of our stay, dated hotel with stained carpeting throughout, indoor pool was unappealing. Several recessed lights in the room were not working, windows dirty and dust everywhere throughout the room. Although the cons are plentiful, I would return if the simple things were addressed in the future.
Nearby activities: There’s an Urban Air close by and shopping within 5 miles.
Food and drinks: There’s an abundance of places to eat within a 3-4 mile radius.”
