I had this place do a paint job on my 2001 Miata a few years ago. Less than 5 yrs later the paint on both doors started bubbling and coming off. We took the car by and showed them the issue and the guy who owns the place now said it’s not his problem even though it’s really the same staff as before. Just a new owner. Basically the same business and same staff with a new name on the door. They said they weren’t responsible for the paint job (same people!) but they would be happy to give us an estimate to correct the issue. Why would I pay you twice?!?! I took my sons car to Rods Custom on South Parkway in Huntsville for an insurance job. I told them about my experience with this place and they said they were told by another customer that their insurance company won’t even deal with this place. If you want a good job done on your car, don’t go here. Other businesses will give you a life time warranty for the life of the car with their paint job. This place won’t because they know their work is shabby. Your paint won’t last 5 yrs.Service: Paint repair

Showed up for an estimate and got a quote immediately on a Friday afternoon. Filed a claim with my insurance on Saturday and Monday the week of Thanksgiving they ordered parts. Dropped off my car the following Monday and picked it up Friday.

I have used Johnston’s on two different occasions and both times have been a great experience. They take care of everything and make the process so easy. The work they do is amazing. I will not use any other body shop.
