DONT GO HERE??????Im convinced that any review on here over 1 star is fake. Had my car for almost 8 months and didn’t even touch it. Constantly lied about its condition, and TERRIBLE customer service. If it were up to me I’d shut him down and take away any certifications he might have had when he actually cared about the industry he is in. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here.

I cannot stress this enough, Do Not take your vehicle to this shop. He’s had my daughter’s car for over 6 months and done nothing but lie and put her off. I was unable to assist her due to several medical issues that came up while he had possession of the car. I was finally able to go with her to get the car back after yet another round of B.S.There have been so many lies regarding her car that he couldn’t even keep them straight when I questioned him about any work that was reportedly done. Please read his other reviews, this is a pattern of unscrupulous behavior.

I would highly suggest not going to Butches shop for any service at all. I took my truck there for a half a day job. Every day for a week straight I would pick up my vehicle with a different issue than the one I brought it to him to begin with. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt because it is an older vehicle, but have spent close to $2000 and have a bigger mess on my hands. I was very patient and tried to address these issues with him and it was always some other excuse, why he could not fix the original problem. And finally after he took my money, messed up my vehicle worst then I was to start with he tells me to leave his property and never come back. Unsatisfied customer is an understatement. I would recommend everyone to stay clear and never let him touch one of your vehicles

Brought my 2006 F150 to Butch based on all these great reviews. Pinion bearing was screaming and I was tired of hearing the noise. Butch replaced all the bearings in the rear end and my F150 was back on the road and at a great price. I was satisfied, until I noticed the rear end was leaking oil around the pinion bearing seal. I took it back to Butch and he replaced the seal, good to go. Got up the next day, still leaking from the pinion bearing seal and now the same pinion bearing noise that I originally brought it to him for was back. Took it back again and told Butch it was still leaking oil and the noise was back. He replaced the seal again and told me he doesn’t hear the pinion bearing noise and now suddenly he is hard of hearing. He said he had his transmission guy, Tennessee, drive it down the road and he didn’t hear anything either. He said maybe I’m hearing road noise from my tires. Took it home and the next day it was still leaking oil from the seal. This is the point that I start feeling like I’ve been had. He tells me to bring it back and he’s going to replace all the bearings and seal again (free of charge). Butch had my truck for three weeks supposedly waiting on parts. Not happy but what am I supposed to do? Pick up the truck, and no leak, but now the pinion bearing is even louder. I take it back the next day and Butch isn’t there but Tennessee is. He rides with me and he can hear the noise and agrees it’s an issue. Take it back again, this time Butch says he’s going to replace everything. Pinion, ring, bearings for free (no way he is replacing all that on his dime). Four days later, truck is ready. Still making the same terrible noise. I question if he ever actually replaced any parts in the rear end. This guy obviously doesn’t road test his vehicles once he makes repairs. They just do the work and then park it out front. Butch came off like such a friendly guy. He told me he worked for Ford for many many years and he had never had this many issues with a rear-end. So I wasted my money, my time, other people’s time trying to arrange for rides, and I’m right back where I started with a noisy pinion bearing. I’m sure Butch’s shop is great for oil changes or other simple fixes that any shade tree mechanic could fix on his own, but if you have something more complicated you’d fare better taking it somewhere else. I believe that Butch originally put in a new pinion bearing but since he never could figure out why it was leaking, he put my original pinion bearing back in and pocketed the money. That explains why the pinion bearing noise returned when the oil leak disappeared.

Tow truck took my van to a shop in Elberta and they sent the transmission to Butch. He had it fixed in about a week. Drive great for about a day and then started getting stuck in 3rd gear. Called the shop and they called Butch who said to bring it right over. This was 3:00 on a Friday afternoon. His shop was very busy when I got there and two pulled in behind me. He stopped what he was doing and addressed my problem right away. He took me on a test drive so I could show him what was happening. He diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately (bad speed sensor) and even let me drive it one more time to make sure it was fixed. Whole thing to less than half an hour. Butch was very nice and friendly. Happy to have found him.

Fair pricing, good work, he warranties his work and gets it done when he says he will for what he quoted you. Don't be in a hurry because as good as he is he's up to his eyeballs in work.

Took two transmissions and both had issues. Won't rectify the problems. Bonus is that I didn't hear of other folks bad experiences until I started telling other folks about mine.Service: Transmission

I had the WORST experience with Butch and his shop. They worked on two of my trucks at the same time and that was a HUGE mistake. The first truck I took him, I got back without the front driveshaft put back in (after months of waiting on it). He had already been paid in full and the transmission went out on my employees. We took it back and it sat for months. He finally says it’s ready for pickup. Come to find out he removed the front drive shaft and never put it back in. The second truck was my personal daily driver. He took months (finding a part) and when he finally “finished” my truck it had grease all over my leather interior, on my paint, my paint was marred around my door where they had locked my keys in and tried to use a clothes hanger to get in. The exhaust was not put back properly so now it has an exhaust leak (as does the other truck as well). My truck now leaks oil all over my driveway because they did not properly install the rear main seal. It was the worst experience ever and was finally to the point of just trying to get my trucks back in my possession. Oh! The best part, it cost me over $5000 to get my trucks back in worst shape than I took him. I will never use that crook again and will warn all others to not use him as well.Service: Transmission
