“I use this WM because it's close, but also because they hire good people. About 11 weeks ago, we had another horrific storm and, as usual, my power went out. I went to WM for supplies: batteries, coolers with ice, battery operated lights and fans, etc. For the first time in my life, I locked my keys in my van. WM had just closed, the parking lot was empty, and my phone and purse were locked inside the van with my keys and the melting ice. The night guard came around, called a locksmith, and waited with me. But the locksmith never came. A WM associate named Brenda (last name purposefully omitted for her protection) drove by on her way home. She stopped to find out what the problem was, then stayed while we waited for the locksmith. When he still didn't come, she called and the dispatcher said, "Oh well, we sent him somewhere else first." Brenda cancelled the locksmith, then drove me (a total stranger) home to get my spare keys (over 15 miles round trip), then back to WM, and waited until I was safe inside my "running" vehicle before she left. AND she would not take any money for her troubles, not even for gas! NOW--that's a TRULY AMAZING individual. And she is a prime example of the other WM associates I have met at this Semmes location. Thank you Brenda. Thank you Walmart.”

“A large selection of perfumes. However, waiting 20 minutes for the staff to open the display case is excessive. After 2 announcements per store and an endless number of button presses asking for staff to come over. Favorable prices, larger selection than in Ross.”

“Finally broke down and went to buy a much needed bra. I have been putting it off for literally years bc I just get overwhelmed and leave. I get a walmart bra that fits weird and just deal with it... but yesterday Sarah made it super easy!!! She asked questions and brought me lots to try on. It's the first time in a LONG time that I've been comfortable in a bra!!! Thanks for taking the time to help me out!!! Now I can take off running and not get slapped in the face or have to readjust!!! ?”

“Starbucks at this Target a million stars... I drove a good distance just to shop there and went into Starbucks for the first time, which is odd, because when I lived down the street from there I never went either..anywho, I stop in before shopping and the line was long because there was only one person working . It was my turn and the cashier had a pleasant smile and attitude. I ordered the Pink drink but they were out of coconut milk, as I was about to walk away she offered another drink, I dont remember the name but it had real strawberries and lemonade mixed. When I tell you it was so good and refreshing it was better than the Pink drink I've been getting for months now. My point of sharing was sometimes a little patience pays off and you'll meet a sweet worker who takes the time to make you feel welcome by simply going above and beyond. I don't remember her name but she had braids and was short and petite and had a kind smile. Thank you for ma'am again, it made my day better;)”
“This particular Tractor Supply is just a few minutes from my home!! I’ve been here several times for pet supplies and recently bought some fly catchers!! This store has always had everything I’ve needed for my two pups and the fly catchers I bought from here worked better than expected!! The staff has always been very helpful and I’ve never had a negative experience here!! I am excited to try their pet washing station!!”
“I came in here with my nephew and step-nephew to see about a video game for my nephew. It wasn't available for him. I however got a Tracfone data card (1 GB) for my Tracfone cell phone. I'm visiting Mobile from Pittsburgh, Pa. for my nephew's HS graduation.”
“Walmart is fine it's Walmart but the customers treat the staff like garbage. And that shouldn't be allowed. Some of these folks need to be banned. But consistent and good. Has less of a selection of lovely women's clothes than Saraland Walmart.”
“The workers there are very helpful. I made a purchase in November, I forgot an item and for moving reasons, I didn't realize I needed it, I returned to the store after a month to see if we had forgotten it there, and yes, the girl remembered me and they gave me the article.”

“Well I made a trip to your store today first time in a long time and only because I just moved to this area. Had to pick up a prescription they were friendly and courteous then had to get a few other items. The only part that was not too impressive was the lady doing the checkout around 1:30 this afternoon and all I wanted to do was say put on a happy face and act like you might kind of enjoy your job a little bit. We all get tired that's understandable but try to be a little bit more pleasant her name is Pam. Also I wanted to say I never seen so many grumpy people and ill-mannered people in one store in such a long time things are bad for everybody you know we got to be a little bit more pleasant to each other. “They recently did a whole clean up and, organized all the clothing in this store. It really made a difference, the store looks a thousand times better! Hopefully they'll stay consistent with the upkeep and hopefully customers won't tear it apart again!”
“The personnel lady Jennie is ah big fat liar. She pretty much hires who she wants and tell everybody else that the orientation is generated by the system but yet i kno at least 4 people that got the job because she personally reached out and several employees told me themselves that that wasn't true. The store itself is ok tho. Tasha in the bakery is very sweet person. Always willing to go above and beyond. Ms Gwen is a sweetheart her and Ms Maria. Pretty much the same people and you get use to them when you go everyday like I do. They always pretty well stocked on everything”
“This is my fav Walmart in the city. I'm not exactly sure why, but definitely sure it's my fav. The store is clean, organized, customer service just great and I can find what I want. The clearance is clearly marked. The market section/deli/bakery/grocery has fresh veggies and fruit. Fresh bread and grocery aisle are well stocked. Yeah, this is definitely my Walmart. One stop shopping. I'm ready to try the app for grocery pickup, next time.”
“I was stopped about some sheets that had mark down prices on them. Lady kept trying to accuse me of swapping tags and was very rude and aggressive. It made me upset so i raised my voice in which an officer detained me for, unwarranted bc I do have a right to have my voice go up when I'm being mistreated and accused of the things she was accessing me of. It was a huge mess. She made me go to customer service to check everything out only to find out they were the price it said was right and i got to leave! Its not right how people are done at walmart sometimes. But get this, she was arrested 1 week after this for STEALING from the very walmart she worked at! You can't project what you feel guilty about onto others. It's not right and it's only making you look bad. I wish the would had happier more respectful people in it bc it seems to be getting uglier and ugliest out there. Stay safe and remember to try and stay humble even when these things happen. Don't do as I did and raise your voice bc I learned we can be detained at walmart even when falsely accused and holding a receipt.”
