This was a quick stop while traveling and I don't know who the Captain is but well done Cap! There's a lot of gas and convenience stores across the country and you're never sure what you're gonna get. I mean there's the King of these places like Buc-ee's and I remember one near the Mexico border that had NO door on the toilet and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the Alamo. This place was super clean, had lots of convenience items with a friendly staff AND their chicken looked and smelled so good I had to try it. Wow, gas station dining is like Russian roulette and not for the faint of heart but the chicken here is legit! If I lived near this place I'd no doubt be a regular, certainly for the fried chicken, but because these folks know how to run a traveler's oasis where it's well lit, clean, friendly and got some kickin' chicken. Bottom line: Well stocked and friendly staff, spotlessly clean and did I mention that have really good chicken :-)
