I'm a long time Yelper. I have NEVER posted a negative Yelp before. STAY AWAY FROM REGIONS BANK! They are not to be trusted. If there were a way to give this bank a zero, I definitely would. I live in Los Angeles, California. Before Christmas I sent my niece (who has 4 children and 1 on the way and lives in Selma) 4 money orders for $1000. each which she desperately needed for food, diapers, utilities and transportation. I wanted her and her children to have a Merry Christmas. Six (6) weeks later Regions Bank has not released the funds to her. The bank has cashed the money orders but are holding the funds. THESE ARE WESTERN UNION MONEY ORDERS! THEY ALL HAVE A SECURITY NUMBER AND HAVE THE AMOUNT IMPRINTED ON THE MONEY ORDERS. They claim they thought they could be fraudulant. I purchased them myself. If they were stolen or missing, I would have been the one to have reported this. I did not. I have called the bank, e-mailed AND posted negative reviews to no avail. I have contacted local and federal authorities and my niece still does not have the funds. The bank's phone number just keeps ringing. No one picks up. No one has responded to my e-mails. A local pastor has even attempted to assist in getting a reply as to why the funds show up on her account but will not be released. I feel that this bank has stolen the funds. They have responded to one of my negative YELP post with a computer generated response (AI). The e-mail actually did not come from the bank but from their Social Media platform. This is the worst I have ever experienced with any bank. I'm 65 years old! I guess if you live long enough you see everything. That a bank in the U.S.A. is stealing funds and getting away with it, it's simply unbelievable. STAY AWAY FROM REGIONS BANK! They are not to be trusted and should really be ashamed. They are the modern time SCROOGE. You cannot give my niece's children back last year's Christmas!

I sent my Niece Belinda Groves Western Union money orders so that her and her 4 children could have a Merry Christmas. Regions Bank cashed the money orders and still have not released the funds to her. It has been almost one month. I have called multiple times and no one can tell me why this has happened. They keep saying we are checking into to it. But all I hear is crickets. What is sad these children should have had a Merry Christmas but all they received from Regions Bank in Selma Alabama was coal. They are the modern day Scrooge. Shame on you and your staff.

?At the Banks front building, there's a slot machine outside by the front doors.?Slide and leave your card ? in the machine.?When the "?" light turns " ".?You can only enter in where the ATM ? Machine is located.?Wheelchair is also accessible.

I was told by the bank I received my check from this bank could cash my cashier check. Instead of processing my check through the machine, she place it on the machine, did small talk with the person next to her, then gave me the check back and said come back in the morning because it was to late. They don't close until 4:30pm. I don't understand why she didn't run the check through the machine.

If I could leave a zero I would. Very disappointed and it's not getting any better. I would not advise doing business here. Quality has dropped

Location is ideal but there isn't enough parking space, no drive thru tellers and only one handicap space. You spend a lot of time waiting to park and then you have to deal with the ATM traffic which makes it congested especially on Friday. You have to stand in a long line outside the bank sometimes almost an hour just to get inside. Customer service is good but it's the only bright spot

This has got to be the worst way to build a bank. It's up against Hwy80. No barrier to protect the people that regions force to stand outside. Handicap or disabled people have to walk from the back of the building to the edge of Hwy80. And the parking lot was built for go-carts!

I went to your location on 5/14/21 to cash a $80.00 check and was told it would be a $5.00 fee. After asking why so much, I was told that what we charge. I said I thought you charge a percentage. She said we do. I asked how much and the man standing behind her told her to tell me 4%. So I asked her how much is 4% of my check and he said it’s $5.00 to cash my check. I ended up depositing the check into my daughter’s account of course without being charged a fee. As I walked away, the man and the teller were laughing. Keep in mind the check was a Region’s check. I really felt humiliated. And it even saddens me to post this. This is not how you treat people.
