Praise God for Uchee Pines. As a full time missionary taking care of my mom, Uchee Pine institute has been a tremendous blessing towards my mom during one of their wellness sessions. The love of Christ will be felt there, and such peace. Highly recommend.

Thank you so much for the many blessings, especially from friends Calvin and Agatha Thrash, during my 7+ visits since 1979, blessings that will continue forever. May God's peace be with you all.

Uchee pines..what can I say? The farm, country life(food store in Columbus, GA) and the lifestyle center all of these are God’s method of reaching souls for Jesus. I have been blessed working here for the Lord. I can confidently say that Uchee Pines is here to help you physically, mentally and spiritually. Whatever health challenges you have, just know that we serve the Almighty and Living God that will give you true peace through Jesus Christ. Once you come here, you will not leave the same only better and ready to meet the Lord when he comes again by God’s grace!!

I am writing this review after spending 17 days at the Lifestyle Center as a Level 2 guest (accompanying my bff, a level 1 guest). Uchee Pines is a lifestyle/wellness center situated on over 300 beautiful acres in rural Alabama. Most of the guests are coming for physical healing of some sort, as this place is run like a hospital. Level 1 patients are assigned to a personal Physician as well as a personal Lifestyle Counselor (combination cheerleader, phlebotomist, treatment practitioner, etc) for the duration of the stay. The Level 1 treatment plan includes two blood draws (at the beginning and the session) and daily vital sign checks. Based on these two things the physician comes up with a dietary protocol (include a prescription of myriad organic teas based on your labs, as well as things like aloe, probiotics, charcoal to drink, etc) and various physical treatments (from fomentations, charcoal baths, sauna, Russian steam treatments, etc) to address your health concerns. Additionally, the days include medical lectures, hands on nutrition classes, exercise classes, digestive walks outside, occasional gardening and morning/evening devotions. Level 2 guests had access to everything the Level 1's did, but did not have a physician, Lifestyle Counselor or labs/treatments. I requested to have labs drawn at the end as I was compliant with the diet (including a 3 day water fast!) and activities, and was curious about my lab results. It was an additional $205 charge and was pretty extensive testing (CBC, Lipid panel, A1C, C reactive protein, etc). Overall, my bff was VERY pleased with her results, as were the other Level 1 guests. One of our fellow guests had a palpable breast cancer mass disappear while another gentleman had his A1C drop by a full point! I'd attribute this in large part to the STRICT VEGAN DIET everyone was on. And by strict, I mean entirely plant based, no animal products, not even oils are used (in one of our classes we made a tofu scramble, and sauteed the onions in water). Minimal seasonings used were himalayan sea salt, garlic powder and turmeric (no pepper, no vinegars, etc). It was extreme, but the proof is in the follow up lab results, eating like this can resolve health concerns. Overall, I'd probably do this again, especially as a pricey detox/reset. As a level 2 guests I'd do a few things differently: I'd go in asking to pay for the labs if I planned on following the diet, I'd find out what classes the LCs had going on (there was a charcol-making class the first week I could have attended, but I didnt know about it until the second week) as Level 2s have much more free time since we do not do treatments, and I would bring gardening gloves (they have a huge one, and I found I liked working on the garden but not barehanded and all they had were nitrile gloves). I will also note this is a faith-based center run by Seventh Day Adventists, and the faith underpins a lot of the program and activities at this facility. Things like Administrative offices having half days on Friday, closed entirely on Saturday and having traditional business hours on Sunday. They pray before each lecture, and blood, draw, and meal. All of the staff, and 90% of the guests in my group were Seventh Day Adventist. There were a couple of Catholics that felt very at home. I am of neither faith, so I skipped all devotions and clearly marked religious activities. I didnt find it awkward, but there was one other guest in the same boat as me that did find it a bit more awkward so be warned. Everyone was very very kind, and not at all pushy but it bears noting. Overall, this was a very unique experience and net positive. I would come back here again.

You could definitely feel the presence of God to heal at Uchee Pines. The doctors were incredible, knowledgeable, thorough, and caring, and they had great recommendations to add to my routine. I was diagnosed with cancer and have seen great results in healing from prayer, exercise, and changing my diet. I went to Uchee Pines for that extra push to get myself over the finish line. The classes were really good. Also, the mind/body connection is something almost always overlooked, which I really appreciated that they incorporated, and I believe it is critical to healing (otherwise, one is just treating the symptoms). I really enjoyed the devotions as they also helped with this. The resident Lifestyle Counselor, Yafet, was incredible and had a great attitude; my experience was so much better from having him care for all of us.Even though it was a really good program and I would highly recommend it, I do, however, have two suggestions for improvement:1) The cooks in the kitchen (as well as the cooking classes) should practice what the doctors are preaching in the lecture classes (low salt, low fat, low sugar diet) so people can see better results in their bodies while still at Uchee Pines. Perhaps this could be achieved if the doctors were to review the food planned for the cooking classes and the kitchen before each session. Several of my numbers took a turn for the worse while I was visiting given the level of salt, fat, and sweetener(s) in the food I was eating, though incredibly delicious. I believe I'll be able to turn these things around when back at home so I'm not too concerned but would have loved to have gone home feeling like I'd made some good progress on my physical health while at Uchee Pines. I do believe I made some good spiritual and mental goals and progress that I would not otherwise have made.2) Thoroughly vet the individual lifestyle counselors (LCs) that patients are paired with, and make sure they continue to have a heart for the program. Mine did not come across as too engaged with my healing process, though I did the best I could to manage it. Even though she was really sweet and I enjoyed talking with her during our sessions, in the end, it appeared that she was generally trying to do the minimum amount required; surprisingly, I had to watch and follow up on several items to obtain the things that were supposed to have been available through the program. I did try to rationalize that my LC was likely not paid much for her efforts, likely just young and immature, likely had no personal personal experience of a major sickness and therefore may lack empathy in this regard, etc. Nonetheless, I know this experience was not the case with all LCs as many of them seemed very engaged with their patients and were going above and beyond for them. Because I could manage it given my background and because the program was overall so excellent (other very caring doctors and staff and overall beneficial things I can incorporate when I go home), I still gave this review 5 stars as I felt like the other factors overwhelmingly offset this.I am very grateful to have been part of this program and believe it will yield fruit for me for years to come physically, spiritually, and mentally.

The simple way to describe this place is wonderful. There is so much truth, knowledge and learning that goes on there to help everyone, especially those who are sick, in mind soul, and body. I praise God for the time spent there. May God continue to cover and protect each of them.

Uchee Pines is truly a slice of heaven! The loving atmosphere, smiling faces, kind gestures, and spiritual devotion of the staff is astounding. As a volunteer here for the past year, I have been personally blessed and have a closer relationship with Jesus just by being on campus. My family loves being able to serve with fellow likeminded Christians and are grateful every day for the opportunity that God has provided us to be here. May God continue to bless this place until Jesus returns!

I came to uchee pines in May 1993 after a hysterectomy and I felt so empty and lost. Without hormones you feel dead and I wasn't about to take the synthetic hormones being an RN knowing what the side effects are. At Uchee Pines I was welcomed with love, respect and genuine caring . After going thru the program I felt like a new person physically and mentally and spiritually. I had no aches or pains and my depression was gone and the natural hormones really helped me get back my feeling of being alive. Thank God for Uchee Pines and their staff. That was 29 years ago and thanks to their program I have been able to help others all these years. God is good all the time.

This is such a beautiful place, with beautiful people. They helped my mom when she was battling with arthritis and other health challenges. When my aunt was at her worst, fighting uncontrolled diabetes, they put her on the tight track and saved her life. It is truly a place of healing for the body, mind, and spirit.
