For the past several months, I was on the hunt for a new car—or at least, a new one for me, since I had been driving a 19-year-old vehicle. A couple of days ago, I finally found the car that seemed to check all the boxes. It was a 2019 Highlander, and I was eager to see if it really lived up to my expectations. I sent an inquiry to High Country Toyota, and within minutes, I received a text from Jacob. While I assume texting is standard in car sales, what really stood out to me was the personalized video Jacob sent. He addressed me by name and acknowledged my interest in the Highlander, which was a fantastic way to start the customer relationship.
When I arrived at the dealership, I was warmly greeted by Ms. Terri at the front desk. She made me feel like family from the very beginning, which put me right at ease. We spent some time talking about family, life, and even shared some encouragement with each other. That kind of genuine interaction is what life is all about.
Next, I had the pleasure of meeting Johnny. What a guy! He was personable, funny, and made sure I was well taken care of throughout the purchasing process. When I finally got to see the Highlander in person, it exceeded my expectations—everything was just as described, if not better. The car was in excellent condition and really checked all the boxes, just as I had hoped.
The paperwork and financing process was smooth and hassle-free, which was a huge relief. The team guided me through every step, making sure I understood everything and felt comfortable with the decisions I was making. I also got to meet Rod, Lexi, Ashley (if I remember correctly), and of course, Tequila—can’t forget her! The entire team at High Country Toyota made my experience nothing short of amazing.
The customer service at High Country Toyota is a solid 10 out of 10. If I lived closer, I’d stop by often just to see the team. If you’re in the market for a car, I highly recommend making the trip to Scottsboro, Alabama, to meet these wonderful people. They’re there to serve you in the best way possible. If I ever need another car, the first dealership I’ll think of is High Country Toyota.

Beware of hidden fees, unknowledgeable about stock they sell, and lag in process. Make a drive to Albertville instead. High Country has the highest doc fee in the state of Alabama. So many locals profess to not even use them in the last 20-30 years. Trust me, READ WHAT YOU AGREE TO. Mark up is ridiculous. Don't bother responding to my review because I have proof to post if needed. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

I have been buying Cars from Brittney for 5 years and she never disappoints! She is not only a sales person she becomes a friend. High country better not lose her because I'll have to go buy Cars from her out of her house I guess. I am from New York but have lived here 8 years and the car buying experience here in the south is so personable. She makes you feel like you are more than a number. I hope this is my last vehicle but I will continue to send people her way!!! Thank you Brittney for always being the best and getting me the beat deal and thanks to William for putting up with me every time and valuing my loyalty to Brittney and your store.

We set a Time on phone I got there about 4 minutes late and was Greeted Promptly. In about 20 or so minutes I was called to desk and told my work was done . Great Service after the Sale.

My husband and I have been driving Toyota vehicles since 1983. We have never been disappointed with the product but not always pleased with the buying process or the dealers. High Country Toyota is the exception. Chelsy and Alexia were a joy to work with and I definitely will be recommending them to anyone that may be looking for a new vehicle. I was very impressed that High Country Toyota employed so many young Women. A definite plus in my opinion!!

I found the service offered by High Country Toyota to be excellent in all areas. I will be placing my future business with them. The one area that was less than excellent was the amount of time it took to get parts for my Jeep. But... it's a Jeep not a Toyota.

I was in a situation that demanded I get a vehicle, after discussing the situation with my wife, we both decided it was best to go new. After pricing out several other dealers, and dealing with pushy salespeople I went to High Country. I met Tequila Bryson. I described my situation to her. I really felt like she took that to heart. Where other salespeople from other dealers texted/called me everyday sometimes multiple times a day. Tequila might have followed up twice a week. She wasn’t pressuring me at all. After we got the final number we wanted I called her to setup the financing everything was approved met her the next day to sign paperwork. This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had on dealing with buying a new vehicle. I would recommend her to anyone.

@Brittany Kroger is the best! I've purchased a lot of vehicles but this was by far the best experience ever. Found the truck online, didn't have much time because I live out of state. To find a professional that's honest, attentive, personable, and looking out for your best interest... She was truly a gem.
I hate haggling and going back and forth. It takes up all your time. So I like to work out some preliminary numbers beforehand. Fair prices, knowledgeable and helpful.
Brittany worked with me over 2 days until we were able to come to an agreement. Many times people don't respond to online ads or leads because they don't think we're serious. I drove 9 hours and she did not disappoint me. We got the numbers just right and when I arrived nothing changed. She was true to her word.
They have water, popcorn and the facility looks amazing ??. State of the art and extremely clean. I love the open concept where you can see everything and nothing is hidden like other places where they go talk to the Wizard of Oz.
They deal with you from beginning to the end. No pushy or hard sales to get warranty's or use their bank. There is no going to finance to wait in line or stalling to squeeze you out of more money . Anything needed, they come to you!
@Brittany even kept it cool when we had a hiccup, it was funny ? and something I'm sure none of us will ever forget. I enjoyed this experience thoroughly and will certainly be back soon.
Literally the easiest and most stress free car buying experience we could have ever imagined. Please go ask for Brittany and tell her Tiffany sent you.
