I just got home from visiting your Scottsboro location today. As we were waiting in line to check out, the cashier was talking to the customer as she was ringing up her items. I couldn't hear everything that was said, but your wonderful cashier (Felicia) has being extra nice to this lady and even came around the counter and gave this lady a big hug. They both had tears in thier eyes. When the customer left, I ask what was wrong. Felicia said her mother had passed away today. I am proud of Felicia and you should be too!

I purchased a stainless steel range last week. Was forced to buy a new power cord. They aren’t allowed to use the one I have. Range delivered, no power cord. They used the one I had. They went to get the new one. 2 days later, haven’t heard from them. Called Home Depot in Scottsboro, got hung up on 3 times. Finally talked to sales person, who gave me a number to call. That was a nightmare. Delivery guys are supposed to bring new power cord this Wed. No manual either and stove not balanced. I will go somewhere else for my other appliances.

So I go today to pick up a $600 door I have been waiting on for 2 1/2 months. I go to the desk where I have picked up every other door and the girl says- you are suppose to go to the service desk- I said I have check out here every other time with no problem. Again she says well you are suppose to go to the service desk. Ok fine I could see she was busy on her phone anyway. So I go to the service desk and finally she brings my door on a cart. I said can I get someone to

If you are looking for an appliance I would highly recommend seeing Phil at the Scottsboro Home Depot. He goes above and beyond on customer satisfaction. I’m not impressed by many. But he went the extra distance to make sure we left happy customers. He definitely deserves recognition. He will be the reason I return for future purchases. Thanks for being an outstanding employee and person.

I have just got off of the phone with my Dad and is 88 year of age .He was letting me know that he bought a GE dishwasher and paid HD to install .HD delivered and hooked dishwasher up and it was defective and was leaking not from any hoses but from dishwasher .The guys that were paid to install said that they could leave it installed because it was leaking.Instead of taking it back and replacing it with a new one they left it in the middle of the kitchen floor .This was 6 WEEKS AGO!! He has been to the store several times and the manager said they only sale GE there is NOTHING THEY CAN DO SERIOUSLY!!!WE WILL SEE ABOUT THAT! I can't give them ZERO STARS BUT I can BLOW UP EVERY GOOGLE ,YELP, FACEBOOK..BUYER BEWARE !!! This Store is ABUSING AND STEALING from the and Elderly .My Dad and I live here in Atlanta Ga so looks like I get go visit HD Home office . Hopefully I want have to drive to Scottsboro Al this weekend and visit the HD Store in person to get this resolve immediately!THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! I AM FURIOUS!!!!

I went to the Home Depot to get a piece of wood. The first associate I talked to was very friendly and helped me locate the piece I needed. However, it was twice the length that I needed. The associate told me that they could get it cut in 10-15 minutes and talked to another associate that confirmed that he could do it within that time. When I returned to the store, another individual--who may have been a supervisor or manger--told me that they did not cut wood. He did not seem at all interested in explaining the store's policy on this. Since the website states that they do cut wood, I called another Home Depot in the area. They clarified that they do not cut pieces if the width is under twelve inches. The ironic part of this is that I would have been able to use a piece with a width up to two feet. If the person would have explained the policy to me, I would have purchased a piece of wood. Instead he just made it seem as if they did not cut under any circumstances. Ultimately, my takeaway is that he just did not want to fool with a small purchase. The other associate mentioned that they were understaffed and that he was the only person working in that department. Two suggestions: (1) have associates be aware of store policy--if certain lengths cannot be cut, do not have associates tell customers otherwise--and (2) take a little bit more time for customer service training. I will not say that the possible supervisor was rude because I don't know what kind of day he was having, but I will say he was not the least bit interested in providing any type of service.
