I'm a newly relocated disabled veteran who travels a lot. I opened an account at the Scottsboro branch with $200 in cash. At the time I opened the account I asked Brandi if there would be any issues with my relocation or that I travel a lot, she said NO and said nothing more about it. Two days later I got a threatening email from PNC "customer verification department" that my account opening process could not be completed and that if I didn't contact them within 5 days my account could be closed.I recieve VA disability compensation and if the account my direct deposit is supposed to be deposited in is closed the government will send a check to an address that I no longer reside at.I called the number PNC gave me 3 times, the first 2 times I was recycled through the automated system, and the third time I got a recording stating that they couldn't take my call and would get back to me at their convenience. Since I do not play games with my only source of income which is my livelihood and I don't respond well to threats, i promptly reversed my direct deposit and went to the branch to close the account. I sat there while a new person was being trained for over a half hour.When asked why I was closing the account so soon, I said that I dont play games with my livelihood and I dont respond well to threats. The woman training the new person told me, " it wasn't a threat ". In every world but theirs, if I tell you that if you don't do what I want that I'll do something bad to you, that is a threat. It was PNC that had my money not the other way around and I wont pay anyone to treat me like that.If you are new to the area and looking to open a new account, I suggest that you go to another bank, but of course it's only a suggestion. Whatever they offer wont be worth the heartache.

Brandi Currie, Brooke Files and the teller Renee Brock are ALL amazing and have great customer service. Fraud on my account, big situation and these 3 stayed til 6:15 at night after working on this situation with the fraud dept for almost 2 hours. Luis a supervisor in fraud dept finally gave authorization to release my most recent pay check because 2 separate representatives had assured me my pay would go to the new acct. Again I appreciate EVERYTHING this branch has done to help during this difficult situation!!

Tyler was able to obtain the paperwork to transfer my vehicle registration from Florida to Alabama in about 2 days. The main BBVA customer service center was unable to this in over two months. So Yea Tyler, Boo BBVA customer service center.....Charlie

Earlier today I attempted applying for a personal loan through my BBVA mobile app; I had a technical issue occur, so I called the 800 number listed. A representative by the name of AMADOR SALINAS answered my call. Amador was absolutely FABULOUS!!! He was both professional and courteous, and he went above and beyond to help me throughout the entire loan process. He was able to handle everything over the telephone in a timely manner while getting my loan approved and cash into my account within the hour! WoW! I personally want to THANK BBVA Compass for employing such incredibly wonderful people like Amador. Thanks to AMADOR SALINAS, today’s experience was nothing short of amazing. He was delightful and made the entire loan application smooth and pleasant. FIVE stars for Fabulous AMADOR and the team at BBVA! I can’t sing enough praises ?

I don't like it when a company takes money out of my account and it takes the bank 10 days to figure it out. I'm out of money and I have to starve while waiting to be refunded into my account but yet a business can illegaly take money out right away. This is so unfair. I wonder if I make a police report if I can get my refund faster.
