“I can’t even believe the kindness I was shown. With all the medicine shortages occurring, I found myself stuck trying to find someone who’s supplier had mine available. I went to every pharmacy brand and every small business in Mobile. I was made to feel horrible. 95% of the pharmacist I had encountered were rude AF. When in pain mng your treated as if your a criminal. Automatically you’re a person of low moral character because you have to depend on this type of med. I know people on probation, criminal, that have more freedom than me. Anytime I can be called and have to be at my doc within 24 hours. Failure to do so means you can be kicked out. So much for a worry free vacation! Right! Now, Melissa, is an amazing person, she’s also the pharmacist. She spoke and treated me with the utmost kindness and respect. You know, like I’m a real living & breathing person. I was so overwhelmed by her kindness, after what I’ve endured these last couple days, I teared up. Just because she saw me as a person. Thanks Melissa & McConaghy, you are a major service to your community & fellow man.”

“They really go the extra mile to assist with out of pocket costs (I’ve been told about coupons for prescriptions and easy ways to retrieve and apply them). The text notifications are so great! They are friendly and knowledgeable! When I call I talk to a person, not automated bots and a million prompts. I’m thankful to have a great local pharmacy over dealing with the big-box chain stores!”

“Love all the employees and the personal attention. The love and support I received from the Med Shoppe when my daddy suddenly passed away really meant alot to me and then when my grandmother passed a couple of months later more of the same love. There are plenty of other pharmacies but none will ever give you more personal service. My family will continue to use the med shoppe as long as they are around. I wish I could give more stars.”

“I'm not a local and only here for a while but it's not a bad Walgreens. Employees seem friendly and helpful. They have things in stock that I need so that's a plus for me. Heard it wasn't the best neighborhood but where is....crime is just about everywhere. I had no problems here and don't anticipate any. Store is clean, shelves are stocked and not empty. Overall, it's a pretty good store to grab your last minute items or weekly sale freebies. I am; however, disappointed that one gallon of distilled alkaline water is $3.99 plus tax. I mean come on, that's a bit excessive. I understand that it is a convenience/drug store and most items are relatively affordable but water??? That high??? Anywho, I'm still a big fan of Walgreens and I love shopping here at the corner of happy and healthy. Note their new hours starting 2/29/24.”

“Always so kind and courteous when you walk through the door she say welcome to CVS and after you finish shopping they asked did you find everything okay, and let you know if you have any points ?”

“Looks like a pretty meh and dodgy Walmart from the outside, but they carry some things that other stores, and even other Walmarts, do not. Particularly Mexican stuff, like specialty dried peppers and corn husks (for tamales)--and La Banderita chorizo, which isn't the best but is still miles better than that Cacique garbage which is the only option in most places, locally. Galileo salame/pepperoni, swiss Gruyere, Bob's Red Mill white grits, stuff like that. Surprising for such a store, really, but ultimately still a standard Walmart otherwise.”

“Odd little pharmacy. Great service. Like, REALLY great service. Nice people. Like, Andy Griffith in Mayberry kind of nice.Only real problem is they aren’t big enough to offer things like the Sempre Libre yet. The guy just said it’s too expensive. I’m calling Sempre Libre to complain.”

“Between my daughter's strep throat and my husband's infection from oral surgery, I've been to this establishment multiple times in the past few days, dropping off prescriptions and picking up medication. The drive thru lines weren't terrible. Long, yes, but they move quickly. I went inside one time because I needed to pick up some other things, and I was greeted by the cashier and the store was clean. Every time, they remind me to put my number in to get my rewards points. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I've never had a bad experience.”

“I have read the other 2reviews. I actually don't, thank goodness, have problems with this Walgreens. The one that I use all the time, on Springhill, I have those, and even worse problems. As long as I keep up on the app, it's fairly smooth. I like the convenience most of all. The people that work there are pretty good. I would recommend if you live in this area.”

“This is a true neighborhood market. Everyone is super friendly produce, deli, cashiers and stockers. The entire store is organized. Every department is taking care of business. I'm in here often for bird seed and groceries. Today, I just tossed the 20 lb bag of bird seed over my shoulder and a stocker saw me and insisted on getting me a basket. I told him I was okay, I usually do this and he grabbed the bag from me, tossed it over his shoulder and carried it to the self-checkout for me. He wanted to know if I needed him to carry it to the car and I told him that I was okay. This is true customer service. Thanks Walmart. Welcome to the neighborhood.”

“Literally EVERY SINGLE PHARMACY in the area is struggling with staff issues and med shortages. Don’t expect a pharmacy to stay on top of YOUR meds and YOUR refills. Also if they are short staffed, don’t expect the phone to be answered IMMEDIATELY. Most of the techs in there are from other stores also, they don’t KNOW you as a person same as Walgreens across the street. If you want faster service then create an account online and THEN see if you have refills, if it’s in stock, refill online, etc. There’s not a pharmacy in the area without it’s issues, and people make it WORSE by coming through the drive thru and wanting to discuss their meds AT THE WINDOW! Use common sense and don’t take up more time than necessary. Pharmacists don’t get tips if you want super personalized service get your meds filled at the drs office. And DON’T expect the dr office to send your meds over the same day and then be ready the same day! You’re in a que, and they may not even be in stock. I wish more people would stop putting the probs on the pharmacy and making their issue everyone else’s!”
