It was fun, a little expensive for what it was, I've told the girls we will go to sixflags again next year for the day it would be just a little over what we paid and it's a whole day rather than 2 dollars a minute. They said the forest is pretty cool but the barn wasn't much and the hayride was kind of sad. The actors did good with what they had, They seemed to enjoy themselves.

My kids and I were so excited to finally make it to Popes this year! I was heavy with apprehension because I genuinely thought I was going to be scared to death. Sadly, I wasn't. We did all 3 attractions. Everything is so dark that you can't see what you're supposed to be scared of. And for 200+ dollars, that's no good. With the prices I wouldn't go back. Even still, it was something to do for Halloween, and I had fun with my kids.

Other groups ruin it. They have to figure out a way to space people out more in the barn specifically. The group in front of us turned around at one point and started literally stepping all over us. There were not many actors but the ones that were there had good costumes and were good characters. The staff for the barn needs serious help, like AA help. She couldn't form sentences and smelled like a bottle. That was only noticed after she yelled at everyone for asking where we were supposed to wait and slammed a door in our face. The hayride was probably the best part and it had the least actors, maybe around 10. Mostly just jumping robots and guys with chainsaws. If it wasn't for rude staff that started drinking at noon and the other groups literally trampling you or cutting in line, it may be better.

Terrible, looks like they don't ever re-do there props. No new paint of any kind. They told everyone that if it gets to scary use your Safe Word ( Cupcake ). The only way you could use the word would be in complete boredom. The only good part was complete Darkness in the different attractions. No costumes. Looks like they came to work at night in there regular clothes and then at the last minute put on a mask. The people there that came to view the scary attractions. They were scarier than the props. Won't be back. Heard dozen of people talking the same as my comment here. Dull and lifeless. But, I guess what do you expect being out in the woods in Alabama. Thought that the scene of being down a dirt road in the middle of the night would be scary. But, NOT... DULLSVILLE complete and utter DULLSVILLE... Saw 3 cars pulled over and the passengers were covered in blood. 2 Sheriff's were on the scene as we left. That was free and more enjoyable than paying and waiting in the long lines. Like I said none of us will even think about returning... ?

I'll be honest... I'm not the right person for this venue as I'm not a fan of haunted houses. It was plenty scary... but the most terrifying part was the Porta potty that had BM in huge volume on the seat. It was so dark I almost missed it. (Shiver.)

A little pricey but fun. Kids had fun. Don't wear a hat on the hayride. An air blast blew mine off of the ride and they don't stop.
