Walgreens is a pharmacy known for its widespread locations across America, which provides convenience for filling prescriptions in many places. Customers report generally pleasant experiences, with staff often described as kind, helpful, and quick to take action. In many instances, prescriptions are filled promptly, with one reviewer noting a difficult prescription was processed quickly for a fast in-and-out visit, which is valued when feeling unwell. Staff members are recognized for putting in extra time and effort to help fill desperately needed medications, including for infants, by promptly checking stock, setting up new insurance profiles, and completing orders in a short wait time. However, some reviews indicate a significant concern with a business model where some prescriptions are filled offsite. This can delay availability until the next day or even after a weekend, which reviewers note can be very bad for critical medications like anticoagulants or for patients needing medication immediately after hospital discharge. This delay may leave some patients untreated and poses a risk of serious adverse health consequences. While insurance issues are sometimes a hold-up, the service at the pharmacy counter itself is frequently praised for its efficiency and care.
They quickly filled my prescriptions. One was even difficult and they were able to get it processed quickly to get me in and out. That is super important when one doesn't feel well.

Always a pleasant experience with this Walgreens. If there is an issue with a prescription it is usually because my insurance is holding it up on their end, not the pharmacies fault.
