Dr. Waters and staff are wonderful, and Rainbow City Pet Clinic is a top notch veterinary clinic. They took excellent care of Biscuit at his first visit this last week. Highly recommended!

Dr. Waters and his assistant, Christina, are wonderful! They are excellent at what they do, truly care about animals, and are honest and trustworthy. My dog, Charlie, has some behavioral issues, and Dr. Waters and Christina handle Charlie better than any other vet’s office that I have tried. In fact, after moving to Birmingham, I still take Charlie to Dr. Waters in Gadsden, because Dr. Waters is better than the vets that I have tried in Birmingham. He is a good man who will take great care of your fur-baby.

I’ve taken my 4yo dog to a dozen different vets around Etowah and neighboring counties over the years but this one is my most preferred. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and the facility is comfortable. We usually see Dr. Hamilton; she is consistently thorough and very kind each time. I always leave with a feeling of reassurance!

My local go-to for pet care. Prices are average.
Update: they saved my cat's life. She refused to eat and wasn't drinking enough. They sustained her until a IBS diagnosis was made. The medication turned her around and now she's back home and thriving! I don't have the words to describe my relief and joy. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

My dog DIED tonight at 8:30 pm. 5 years old. All shots up to date!
I took my dog in Monday April 29th 2024. Lithargic. Not eating. They said enlarged prostate. Then changed it to pancreatitis. They said he was getting better. $1,000 and 3 days in their “hospital”. They called ME to say he needed to be picked up today.
When I got there, he wasn’t well AT ALL! They told me he’ll get better at home. He was weak, wouldn’t eat, lithargic. In pain.
I got him home at 5:30 pm. He could barely walk. He drank a lot of water, peed, then laid down. He still wouldn’t eat. He slept. He then went out to a corner of the back yard and DIED only 3 HOURS LATER!! Only 3 hours after Dr Hamilton said my dog was all better and ready to come home!!
Dr Hamilton was his vet. She had NO CLUE what she was doing!!! She misdiagnosed him and KILLED HIM!!
My dog was better when I took him in than he was when I got him out of the clinic!!!!! He was only 5 human years old!! Born in 2018.
Rainbow City Pet Clinic has INCOMPETENT DOCTORS and charges HIGH PRICES!!!
DONT TRUST YOUR PET TO THESE QUACKS!!!
These are pics of my dog that they LET DIE!!! Foam at nostrils from dying. Dew on his fur from being stone cold. Bandaid on his front leg from their IV. Dr Hamilton did this!!!
Look at their bill for killing my beloved dog!!! That’s $278 + $700 deposit!!!

I just got home from Rainbow City Pet Clinic. So worth following up on the recommendation. My Belgian Shepherd mix plays rough with his brothers playing catch. I did not know he was hurt until just before going to bed, he was limping bad. I had just moved to Alabama so I did not know who to call. On a recommendation, I called the clinic and made an appointment. It was a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff made Gator feel comfortable. The vet even got on the floor with him to do the examination. The staff and the vet were professional and friendly.... I think I found my new vet... I don't think I told her I have 3 German shepherds and 6 cats....

We brought our 11 year old boxer in today to see Dr Hamilton! She was amazing with our fur baby! We had to put her down due to health issues! Dr Hamilton was kind and so caring to our baby while she was administering the medication! Her and her staff made this process a lot easier! Thank you for being so kind and understanding today! Ya’ll were truly a blessing!
