“Great Inventory, more in stock in general than the local dollar generals. This location in particular have quite a bit of home decor options, as well as having the HomeGoods section.
Freezer section is similarly large, larger than the local dollar generals as well, although they do not offer fresh produce.
Employees at this location have been nothing but helpful and nice, although I do wish that they had a self check out.
Pricing at this store can be hit or miss by a few percent when compared to other similar locations.”
“I've been a cashier for 3 months here and I'm reading all the reviews and see all the bad reviews and wanted to say we have new staff that are great and we have been putting our all into making it a great store it's clean and well stocked and the doors do not lock until they are supposed too”
“My store in Pell city has recently gotten the best people who work there. One gentleman who I think is called Mario and the manager is great and very helpful and nice. These two really deserve a big hug and raise.”
“This is my “home” DG, about 7 minutes from my house. I’m here 5-7 times a week. By far my favorite location, it’s a smaller store but they do well keeping it orderly while placing a ton of freight.
Employees and management are great, never had any interaction that wasn’t pleasant, amongst hundreds.
Parking is great, it’s in the Piggly Wiggly strip mall.
Love the self checkout. Produce is also nice, although being next to a grocery store I wonder how profitable it can be for them.”

Nearly 300 stores are open now with many more opening this year, and over 3,000 markets identified.Historically, small towns have had very limited retail options. Shoppers often travel long distances to meet all of their shopping needs.Building on the success of both brands, they have created a new format for populations of 3,000 to 4,000. Two of your favorite brands, Dollar Tree and Family Dollar, in one location!”
“One of the best dollar general around! The shelves are always stocked whenever I am there! The cashier are always friendly and welcoming! It's worth the drive ?”

They care about the store as well as the people that come in to do their shopping. Thanks Dollar General of Ohatchee Alabama.”

We needed a cat harness and a couple of cooking pots. We found these items in no time, and there was a selection to pick over.Like most Dollar General, the aisles are narrow, and it can be hard to navigate around, but this is not a problem for us. There was no clutter in any of the aisles. Very nice stop.”

“I have had nothing but good shopping experiences here. The people who work are super nice and not rude. I like that there are actual cashier's at cash registers and we are not forced to use a self check out. Having the ability to shop in two stores in one is a big plus as well.”
