261 Dauphin St, Mobile“Though I live down by the island, I enjoy coming to LoDa to shop and dine. I love that they have so many events there. I often bring friends to the Art Walk on first Fridays. There is a good variety of restaurants and lots of galleries and shopping places. Street parking can be a challenge but there are several lots close to Dauphin Street.”

“Okay while I must say this was my first time visiting the Habitat for Humanity store, but what I found was low prices! Yes these are donated items that are being resold, but it's no different than Goodwill or Salvation Army except they are NON PROFIT and they help less fortunate people build and make a home with their lower prices and savings much less than retail!”
“This is a 50/50 location but I bought a toddler bed and my husband was picking it up on his way home and they sold it again before he arrived refused a refund and gave me store credit for the same amount”
“Best parade of 2024!! Bettie Hunter Float was my favorite!! Amazing way to showcase wonderful history and the best throws. Thank you to everyone involved in the parade!!”
“The northern gulf coast residents owe quite a bit of appreciation to Casi and her staff. They work very hard to ensure that any potential environmental issues are thoroughly analyzed prior to implementation. Mobile Baykeeper is held in high regard by the local private industries and governmental agencies that deal with environmental issues. The working relationships that Casi has established with her peers has resulted in an effective voice for those of us who want our concerns addressed.
With the new and politically sensitive environmental challenges coming our way, we are very fortunate to have Mobile Baykeeper representing our concerns.”
“This isn’t the type of YMCA that I grew up with. It’s clean with either nice or quiet staff. Four lane pool X 25. Most equipment seems to be newer. Haven’t seen a spin class but they do have a separate area for it as well.”
“Amazing Volunteer Run Rescue for dogs and cats. They do transport of 50+ dogs a month to upstate New York... every dog has been neutered, every dog has all shots and vaccinations, all who needed it were treated for heartworms, many have had to be treated for injuries, illnesses or infections... all have had the benefits of living for at least 2 weeks in a foster home with a family... and every one was rescued from a horrific situation or was in a shelter prior to the tremendous efforts put into their veterinary needs. Additionally a large number of cats are rescued and neutered and nursed to health... and a few dogs are also rehabilitated and given veterinary services so they can be adopted locally, sent to other parts of the country, or put into service dog programs. It's an amazing organization doing an amazing amount of work.”

2423 Schillinger Rd S, Mobile“Lovely area, lots of options, I completely agree with all the other posts regarding the sketchy pavement in parking lot. It's definitely one you should hold your coffee bc cup holders don't have shock absorber”
“My bathroom at work over flowed. Rotter Rooter was taking their time. My stomach was not going to be able to hang much longer. I had to go , but where.Bam it hit me. Good Will. The bathrooms where on point. Clean, and private. Definitely recommend. Will be visiting again.”
“My go to thrift store near the university of south Alabama. It’s pretty small so it’s fun for a quick run through and it’s just off airport so it’s super convenient. They typically have a lot of furniture too for how small they are. I have found vintage suitcases, mini expensive pieces in my fine china set, and one of the cutest clothing finds I’ve ever made. Definitely recommend this place. I feel like the smaller size definitely keeps me from breaking my wallet!”
“I really love this place. You have to work your way through it to find the gems but I've always found my fair share ? of great items. It's the highlight of my life to come here and search who the bins to see if I could find something I really need or something I could give to my great-grandkids it's amazing.”
“I recently dropped off several bags of clothing to be distributed at the weekly neighborhood community lunch. My heart is always touched to see the workers and volunteers who pour so much love into the children in this community. It’s an amazing thing to see the fruits of their labor. So much loving care and patience poured into the youth. It’s much needed.”
