I would not recommend this repair shop and would give zero stars if I could.
During a move from Virginia to Alabama, our fifth wheel was damaged under the wheel wells from two tire blowouts. Upon arriving in the Montgomery area, we chose to take our fifth wheel to Prattville Auto and RV Repair to have it fixed. We dropped it off on August 6th and our insurance arranged for the adjuster to go out and inspect the damage.
On August 12, we received pictures from our insurance adjuster that he felt were inconsistent with the damage as explained in our claim. The pictures showed significant damage to the back left of our RV that was absolutely not there when we dropped it off. The company then quoted our adjuster an absurd $17,000 for the damage sustained on THEIR WATCH.
My husband called the shop and they told him it was like that when it was dropped off. When my husband asked why we didn’t receive a call about the significant damage, they told him that they thought it was weird and that they thought it was from the tire blowout. They continued to deny any wrong doing. The company claimed nothing else moved on the lot. Our insurance company advised us to file a police report along with another claim, which we did.
We returned a couple of days later to pick up our RV because we were absolutely not going to let them repair it. My husband and I walked the lot, and there was NO WAY he hit anything on the way in. The only thing he possible could have hit coming in was a blue gate and pole, and there was absolutely no damage to that gate. When we asked to see the video camera footage, they were only able to provide still images that did not cover any angles to tell what happened. There was blue rubbing on the side of our camper that makes it look like a tech clipped the building moving it in (I can’t prove that, but spoiler alert: their entire building is literally blue.)
As we were leaving, a man who I assume was the manager came out to speak with us. He basically said “sorry, our cameras are crappy” and after I said I would be writing a poor review he said “I wouldn’t do that since you don’t know what happened” and then he stalked off.
DO NOT use this repair shop. Their lack of sufficient security camera coverage alone should be enough to give you pause. If you do use this shop, ABSOLUTELY take time stamped pictures of your vehicle before leaving it in their possession. It’s apparently not standard practice for this shop to do walk around with the customer before they leave the property, so make them walk around your vehicle and document everything so they can’t do this to you too!

I showed up Prattville A&RV Repair announced with a shattered egress window while on a journey. These folks had me on the road within 30 minutes at a very fair cost and 450 miles later, their quality temporary repair is protecting the RV. Just a delightful transaction with humble & trusting people.

Wife and I are visiting my son and his family for a couple weeks at the AFB in Montgomery. We had an electrical issue that was causing A/C issues in 90+ degree heat. We called in the AM and they were able to look at it and fix the issue that day. Excellent service, fantastic staff and 100% awesome. Got us back in our camp ground that day. Can’t say enough about this service center!Services: Battery

Yesterday, we had no power when we woke up. Connected to 50 amp, but out inverter wasn't worker. We couldn't bring in our awning, put up our front windshield shade, or put the overcab bunk back up until we jumped our house batteries. Drove 8 miles to an RV SHOP. They had it fixed in a.jiffy! Kind, courteous, and good at what they do. Thank you to. Ernie!Service: Electrical repair

A total joke was quoted a possible 5200.00 to 8000.00 dollars for what was a radiator fan clutch replacement repair not a engine replacement for what was a radiator fan clutch replacement.

Our travel trailer had an axle problem so we were forced to stop out trip. We brought it in and they were able to diagnose it quickly. They ordered the part, but because of Covid, it took a while. THey continued to check with the shipping company to see if it was on it's way. They then worked late into the night to get it fixed knowing that it was our home. I really appreciate the caring that they showed to us. It seems rare these days.Service: Steering/Suspension
