Authentic Mexican food at good prices. We’ve ate at most every Mexican restaurant in the area and this is the best one. They server may not speak English but y’all can point at menu. ?

I have been looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant for a few years since moving to AL. I finally found one that has that home cooked taste. Food was delicious. I was so excited to eat forgot to snap pics. I had a pupusa and an asada sope with Mexican coke, and a myriad of salsas from the salsa bar. Chips were hot and fresh. My brother had asada tacos and a pupusa. Service was excellent. Server was attentive and staff were fast. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

What a disappointment- They don’t have Tea, sodas are served in the bottle. The salsa taste like cilantro with cilantro. There were two of us that ordered the steak quesadillas and we left most of them on the plate, the meat was too dry! Although the chips were fresh and hot -I would not recommend place.

We were looking for a place where we could get good Mexican food, we found it. They were so nice, and the food came out quickly an was awesome.

The restaurant itself is small and very charming! Has that authentic feel. Love the Tacos and they taste so fresh. Only thing I'd say is the Salsas' they have are a little lacking in the flavor punch department. And the main red salsa is a little salty. Other than that it reminds me of my childhood where the entire community got together and cooked for each other. Latin food is always my go to!!

We had dinner here. It was fantastic! We had Supreme Nachos, Enchiladas Verde and Chili Colorado. Most definately a "do over", can't wait to go back! Everything was delicious!

Not really that impressed with this place. Food was ok which was a shock for the reviews it got. Service was definitely lacking by what I'm used to at even so-so restaurants. Will not be back.

The place looks like it had all the potential to be a winner. While it was ok, it was nothing incredible in terms of either service nor food. I will say that I enjoyed the chips and salsa. The papusa was simply horrific, dry tasting and just all around weak. The dish I had which featured steak was ok, though the meat was very tough. This place is acceptable, just nothing very good

Very authentic Mexican food! Salsa and guacamole was some of the best I have had! Very reasonably priced!

We just had lunch at El Pastor. The salsa and chips were fresh. The salsa was great! The food is authentic. It's a cozy little place with great service. The prices are extremely reasonable.

Listen, coming from California and trying EVERY possible "mexican" restaurant, this place is sensational. You will not find a more authentic and tasty place. The price is right and it's like walking into a piece of Mexico. The so pastor and carnitas street tacos were my favorite. But get the Papusa and Chili rellino too. The salsa bar is insane, and they make it all from scratch and not like all the other spots that use the jarred stuff. You won't be disappointed!
