“I have gone several times to Ace in Gardendale. They are so nice and helpful. One time I was looking for blower that wasn't terribly heavy but was very powerful. The young man that helped me demonstrated it and let me hold it to see if it was a good enough wait for me. I will never go back to those huge stores where no one will help you.”

“The man behind the counter has always bent over backwards to find a way to get a replacement barrons or belts in the size in need .even if they do have the exact barron or belt he finds a way. I have never left there empty handed .this time it was belt for my new 20 hours old Arien Zero Turn deck belt .he had to order it and it came to my house the day he said it would. He always has a Smile on his face .I lost his card but he is the young man that shaves his head . Go by and see him ..and you will save a lot of money ..the local parts stores will break the bank . “Picked up my order for approximately 1400 square feet of decking materials from the post for the ground all the way to the deck boards. Aron and Brian this morning where extremely helpful with helping me to get it loaded even though it was raining cats and dogs. Would ha e given it a five star overall except as we where loading it and checking things off the list the order puller had gave me way to many of one thing and did not have it all pulled, even though we had an email confirming it was pulled and ready to go. If I was to rate these two gentleman that helped me this morning they would have gotten way higher then a 5 star. I told them if they where going to have to go out in the rain to get my order I could come back later and Brian insisted days g sir you drove to pick your order up I want you to able to leave with your order. “Ace Hardware inside Piggly Wiggly in Clay is always a great place to find most of your hardware, yard, etc. needs. It's close, so we don't have to travel to the big box retailers such as Lowe's or Home Depot. Very customer service oriented staff is always helpful. PLUS, the grocery store is well stocked, clean and well staffed. A grocery store and hardware store together is a great concept”
