Very efficient folks ( now that the have Autumn running the show). Sadly, they do a service that should not have to be done if pet owner's were a little more responsible!

I went in to help Groom a few dogs to help them find their forever homes. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. They could definitely use some extra volunteers and donations for sure. They are doing am excellent job with what they have.

Laura and Alex were wonderful. They took in a dog that we had found along the highway and immediately started examining her and pulling ticks off of her by hand. They were gentle and caring with all of the animals we saw them interact with and I will be donating in the future.

About Pell City Animal Control Center
The Pell City Animal Control Center is a temporary home to stray or lost animals during the Alabama State mandated 7 day holding period. Once the holding time is over, any unclaimed animal will be evaluated for possible adoption. We encourage everyone to contact us if they are interested in adopting an unclaimed stray or lost pet, prior to the end of their 7 day hold. Animals with special needs or medical conditions will be considered for adoption, with additional counseling provided to the prospective adopter. Animals are accepted for surrender by appointment only! Please call 205-814-1567 during business hours to schedule an appointment to surrender an animal.
